Why Shouldn’t Ukraine Be Divided into Several States?

Why Shouldn’t Ukraine Be Divided into Several States?

If people in eastern Ukraine want to separate entirely or to create a federal arrangement with lots of autonomy, why not? Ukraine has 46 million people. This is a very large number and Ukraine has the largest territory of any country in Europe. From this standpoint, Ukraine could easily accommodate two states or three or four. From the standpoint of the disparate peoples living there and their different political preferences, it could also be governed by several states.

Poroshenko and the junta are making war rather than peace. Their behavior evidences psychopathy. The U.S. government has caused this war to happen and supports it, showing the same psychopathy. We have extremely sick behavior being exhibited by Ukraine, NATO and the U.S. Yet they are all parading around as if their killing and bombing were healthy and justifiable. And to the extent that their phony narratives sell in America and are tolerated by Americans, it shows that the pathology has deep roots across this country.
