From Iraq to Syria: How to transport men and weapons without really trying

The much touted fall of Mosul and the alleged capture of US military equipment have been in the making for a long time. It is therefore important to have some institutional knowledge of where these events began, and how a ragtag corporal in the Georgian army, sick and disillusioned, has suddenly become the poster boy for America’s war on terrorism in Iraq.

The corporal concerned is al-Shishani, AKA, Umar Gorgashvili, whose birth name is TARKHAN BATIRASHVILI. He is leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIS) insurgents who have been seen, very conveniently, transporting US-supplied Humvees across the border into war-torn Syria after the capture of Mosul.

Often reported as killed, al-Shishani nevertheless always turns up at the right time and right place for a photo opportunity, all part of the subterfuge. Umar Gorgashvili goes by many different names, but most of these are known only to those that have trained and have worked with him. There are (actually were, some of them have been murdered) four chechens operating in the region, thus named “al shishani”: Omar al-Shishani, Saifullah al-Shishani, Amir Muslim and Salahudeen al-Shishani.

The supposedly captured US Humvees his troops have taken to Syria are purported to be the inanimate equivalents of the US hostages held for so long in Iran in the late seventies. However, the track record of al-Shishani himself, and the various players in the region, indicates that something else is going on.

The US-backed rebels are losing ground in Syria. ISIS, though presented as the enemy in northern Iraq, has been installed there to finish the job the original rebels have proved unable to.

The capture of the equipment is in fact a strategic handover. It serves two purposes: to equip the anti-Assad forces and to provide cover for equipment being brought out of Afghanistan and handed over to ISIS. It will be said, if anyone notices, that this equipment must have been stolen from northern Iraq, because we have seen this happen on TV, and CNN says so!

Moths and butterflies

It has been interesting to watch al-Shishani/Batirashvili/ Gorgashvili, being transformed from an invalid soldier, officially too sick for duty, into the fiercest jihadist in the world. Maybe there is no choice but to present him as such, when 5,000 of his jihadists have overrun four divisions of the Iraqi army, which the US has spent $25 billion training.

Francesco Crispi, Italian Prime Minister in 1898 who had gained his position by presenting himself as a strongman, was forced to resign by a stone-throwing mob when his army was routed at the Battle of Adwa by an Ethiopian force armed largely with spears. No one wants to bow out of history in the same way over Iraq, despite all their talk about how much their actions are driven by care for the Iraqi people.

But of course that is not going to happen for another reason. The new poster boy learned everything he knows not from his fellow jihadists but from the people who trained him: the US army, the training provider for the Georgian Armed Forces under the 64 Million Dollar US Train and Equip Programme, and Turkish intelligence, also trained by its US equivalent, through whom he took on his new role. This man is another jihadist who is actually working for the other side, doing, as ever, things that side won’t dare do openly because the public who pay their wages would never support them. There is a list of them, and they too have different names and for different purposes, all their travel and foreign passports funded by US taxpayers.

The US motivation

The captured Humvees are becoming quite the celebrities. Al-Shishani has been shown driving them around unhindered, in scenes designed to outrage the supporters of the US action, and then inspecting them in Syria, thus demonstrating the international nature of the jihad and underscoring the importance of the global war on terrorism, providing justification for any action the US chooses to take against it—or inaction. They US can even symbolically send some troops back to Iraq, of course, only to protect American citizens.

All these televised images look rather similar, purely in technical detail, to a number of similar ones connected with terrorism – the faked Boston Bombing footage shot by the Boston Globe, the faked gas attack purportedly committed by Assad’s troops reported by CNN, the internationally distributed photos of Carlos “The Jackal” which do not match eyewitness accounts of the man. Details of the background do not match, images purportedly from the same day and time have different light levels and appear to be from different places, there are unexplained smudges and gaps and nothing to identify exactly when and where certain scenes were shot.

This consistency is not accidental. The US Department of Defense has written a manual on capturing scenes like these to marshal international opinion against an aggressor. Follow this link for the full original report: 1998 Report on Disinformation Warfare Manual – Chapter 7

The fact that such a manual exists does not mean that the images from Mosul and Syria are part of such a disinformation programme. However, we need to take into account two factors. First, al-Shishani was trained by the US whilst in Georgia. Everything he knows the US also knows, and everything he does the US knows he will do, because it taught him how and when to do it.

Second, the US has practically withdrawn from Iraq but is still trying to pursue its aims in Syria. Hillary Clinton, Obama’s former Secretary of State, is warning that further military intervention in Iraq would be a “delicate and difficult task for our government because we certainly don’t want to fight their fight.” This is the same Hillary Clinton who wrote in a recent memoir that the Syrian conflict has spilled over into Iraq. The civil conflicts in Iraq and Syria are all part of the same thing, according to her, and therefore according to her boss, as she would not be allowed to make such statements off the top of her head when security is at risk.

So to continue the war in Iraq when you have withdrawn your troops, to justify the original conflict and lost lives, what do you do? Increase the engagement in Syria, which is now, we are told, where Iraq’s new troubles are coming from. Strangely enough, this is where the Humvees taken by al-Shishani’s men are now. Where the threat goes, funding will follow – funding which is desperately needed, with the rebels being penned back day by day.

Maybe the US genuinely fought against al-Shishani’s ISIS forces in Iraq. If it did, it suffered a humiliating defeat which puts the whole war on terror in doubt and with it the funding and public support for continuing it. But if this is the same war being fought against Syria, that changes everything.

This minor local setback can be reversed by defeating the instigators in Syria. But where exactly are these instigators? ISIS is not fighting on the side of Assad in Syria. It is fighting against him, like the crumbling Free Syrian Army and US-backed rebel forces, and indeed largely replacing these groups, as they have failed to secure Assad’s removal.

So al-Shishani is fighting both against and for the US, simultaneously, in the same war. Taliban militants in Afghanistan are complaining that they did not join it to fight FOR the US, as they are now effectively doing as a result of the latest turns of the peace process. One wonders how such a thing could happen in Iraq and Syria, unless it was always intended to be this way.

Turkey’s involvement

According to the BBC Omar al-Shishani entered Syria from Turkey to get involved with the conflict there. This is a well travelled route and this has been confirmed by Chechens who lived in Georgia as well. In Syria, Turkey has tried to play its own game; the US has not agreed to share tactics and strategy with Turkey and, incredibly, Northern Iraq

We sure that Tarkhan entered Syria by Turkey, based on good sources about it and who trained him? After all, he travelled a lot, and not only in this direction but participated in executing some ethnic Ossetians inside of Georgia proper back in 2008, prior to the start of the 2008 Russian Georgian war.

Turkish collaboration with the Chechens is nothing new. It dates back to the eighteenth century, when both Chechnya and the Ottoman Empire were under threat from Christian Russia. Then the Turks offered the Chechens help to “defend the caliphate”, now the mantra is “jihad against the Russians in the Levant paves the way for the return of the caliphate, and taking the jihad back to the Russian heartland.”

Chechens wishing to continue this jihad invariably do so through Turkey due to this longstanding tie. From there they enter both Syria and Iraq. Mosul is the largest Christian city in Iraq, therefore an obvious target for jihadists. Its capture from the dysfunctional Iraqi government reassures Turks that “genuine Moslems” now control not only the surrounding region but its oil reserves. The country extracting the largest quantity of oil from those fields is Turkey.

But Turkey is also a US ally and member of NATO. It will continue to support US causes, such as prolonging the conflict in Syria, to further its own geopolitical ambitions, which have recently begun to bear fruit. Turkey is increasingly following the path of China: it has become a regional powerhouse, expected to intervene in conflicts and act as an honest broker between smaller nations, without giving up any of the anti-democratic conduct which previously saw it ostracised on the world stage.

Political violence, ethnic conflict and arbitrary justice are not things of the past in Turkey. Politicians still pander to martial sentiment by being as adversarial as possible, the military still plays a major role in government behind the scenes and a mainstream variety of radical Islam continues to undermine the secular state as much as Kurdish and other minority communities’ terrorist groups. But it has the economic clout to dominate the region regardless, so these previous bogies no longer come into view, regardless of the consequences.

By continuing to provide a pathway for Chechens to get involved in jihad Turkey keeps part of its “strongly” Moslem population happy and enhances its own claims to be both a Western and Moslem nation. It also helps the US by ensuring the fall of Iraq, making it appear a hopeless case not worth defending any further, but blaming that on Syria, enabling it to increase its involvement there.

The international nature of al-Shishani himself, an ethnic Chechen/Kist actually from Georgia fighting in Iraq and Syria, brings home the international nature of the war on terror and the fact that even Moslem countries are threatened by it. This again serves both US and Turkish objectives, as governments fund each other, and keep each other in power, to conduct this war.

The only trouble is that al-Shishani gets the raw end of the deal. He now has to defend his conquests with arms, all the while looking over his shoulder for the day when he is no longer useful, and is executed by his friends as a terrorist, like so many before him. Chechens themselves also get an even worse name than their association with terror has given them now, making their engagement in civilized conflict resolution impossible as no one will, officially, negotiate with a terrorist.

What next?

Minority groups, particularly dispossessed ones, always have a cause. They are willing to get into bed with anyone to further that cause. A number of monarchist Russians who went into exile in 1917 sided with Hitler throughout the Nazi era, not because they were Nazi, but because he was an aggressive antithesis of the hated Communists, a situation he exploited to his advantage.

The Moslem Chechens do not have a state of their own, and live surrounded by Christian peoples. Anyone who offers them a way to pursue the fight against those Christians, even if they are infidels themselves, is potentially a friend, but a friend much bigger and stronger than them, whose will they will eventually have no choice but to follow, whatever blandishments are initially offered.

Chechens such as Omar al-Shishani can be used for any purpose, and Georgia has seen it all before. The US has been inserting groups of Chechen fighters and Arab terrorists into Pankisi Gorge in Georgia to destabilise Russia for a number of years, and the snipers who shot at people indiscriminately in Maidan Square were subsequently evacuated through Georgia. Whatever cause al-Shishani may once have had, he has merely become an adjunct of US foreign policy, and must be well aware of this.

Does Omar still have tuberculosis? No one seems to know for sure. But what is clear is that this new international monster has now become a sicker and more helpless man than he ever was. He will be discarded in due course, and his alleged conduct has made it all the harder for the Chechen cause to be seen as anything other than an excuse for violence. He may not have set out to bring this on himself and his people, but that is what he is doing, with thousands of innocent civilians as collateral damage he will be blamed for causing.

De schandalen stapelen zich op voor de regering Obama. Nu blijken moslimterroristen van ISIS, dat grote delen van Syrië en Irak heeft bezet, in 2012 op een geheime basis in Jordanië getraind te zijn door Amerikanen en Turken, die hen tegen de Syrische president Bashar Assad wilden inzetten. Het was natuurlijk nooit de bedoeling (?) dat ze tegen de Amerikaanse belangen in Irak zouden vechten. Eerder voltrok eenzelfde rampscenario zich in Afghanistan, waar de Taliban in de jaren ’80 werden getraind door de CIA om te vechten tegen de Russen. Ook daar keerden de moslimextremisten zich later tegen hun ‘weldoeners’.

Getraind in Jordanië en Turkije

Jordaanse officials hebben bevestigd dat er in Safawi, in de noordelijke woestijnregio van Jordanië, al in 2012 een basis was waar Amerika en Turkije tientallen ISIS-strijders trainden om te vechten tegen Assad. Wel zou eerst onderzocht zijn of de strijders geen banden hadden met Al-Qaeda. Ook op bases in Turkije worden terroristen klaargestoomd voor de burgeroorlog in Syrië. Eén van deze kampen bevindt zich vlakbij de NAVO-luchtmachtbasis Incirlik, bij Adana.

Ook het Duitse Der Spiegel berichtte in maart dat Syrische rebellen in Jordanië door Amerikanen worden getraind in onder andere het gebruik van anti-tankwapens. Hoewel niet helemaal duidelijk is of de Amerikanen tot het leger behoren of tot private firma’s zoals het beruchte Academi / Blackwater, dragen sommige instructeurs Amerikaanse legeruniformen.

De Britse Guardian schreef in dezelfde maand dat naast Amerikaanse ook Franse en Duitse instructeurs hulp geven aan de Syrische rebellen. Frankrijk en Duitsland weigerden hierover commentaar te geven aan journalisten van het internationale persbureau Reuters.

‘Nieuwe regionale oorlog’

Gisteren waarschuwde de VN dat het geweld in Syrië en Irak kan overslaan op de buurlanden, met een nieuwe Midden-Oostenoorlog als gevolg. Ook de Jordaanse officials zeiden daar bang voor te zijn. ISIS plaatste onlangs een video op YouTube waarin werd gedreigd dat Koning Abdullah, die als een vijand van de islam wordt gezien omdat hij samenwerkt met het Westen, zal worden ‘afgeslacht’. In een andere video is te zien hoe tiener-jihadstrijders van ISIS zich rond een Iraakse gevangene opstellen en feest vieren als hij wordt geëxecuteerd. (4)

Ook Saudi Arabië speelt een grote rol in het Syrische en Iraakse conflict. De Saudi’s leveren wapens aan ISIS en worden algemeen gezien als één van de belangrijkste drijvende krachten achter de aan Al-Qaeda verbonden terreurbeweging.

‘Obama medeplichtig’

Een geïnformeerde bron met contacten met een hoge official binnen de Shi’itische Iraakse regering van premier Nouri Al-Maliki noemt de Amerikaanse president Obama ‘medeplichtig’ aan de oorlog die ISIS voert tegen de regering in Baghdad. Tevens bevestigt hij dat duizenden in Turkije getrainde moslimterroristen via Syrië naar Irak zijn gereisd, met als doel daar het Islamitische Sharia-Kalifaat op te richten. (1)

Una ojeada a las novedades editoriales producidas en el estudio de las relaciones internacionales -o, si se quiere utilizar un lenguaje “políticamente incorrecto” pero más diáfano y accesible: el imperialismo- revela la creciente presencia de obras y autores que apelan a la problemática geopolítica. La súbita irrupción de esta temática nos mueve a compartir una breve reflexión, y esto por dos razones. Primero, porque el tema, y la palabra hacía tiempo que habían sido expulsadas, aparentemente para siempre, del campo de los estudios internacionales y ahora están de vuelta. Proponemos la hipótesis, en segundo lugar, de que su reincorporación no tiene nada de casual o accidental sino que es un síntoma de un fenómeno que trasciende el plano de la teoría y la semiología: la decadencia del imperio norteamericano.

En relación a lo primero digamos que el abandono de la perspectiva geopolítica no sólo se verificó en las elaboraciones de los mandarines de la academia, lo cual no es motivo alguno de preocupación, sino que también se hizo sentir en las obras de los pensadores de la izquierda, lo cual sí era motivo de inquietud. Tanto era así, y tanto ha cambiado en muy poco tiempo, que al terminar la redacción de mi libro América Latina en la Geopolítica del Imperialismo, a mediados del 2012, y proceder a la última revisión del texto antes de enviarlo a la imprenta creí necesario introducir un largo párrafo, que reproduciré parcialmente a continuación, para responder a los muchos amigos y camaradas que, sabedores de la problemática que estaba investigando me hicieron conocer su sorpresa, y en algunos casos desacuerdos, por dirigir mi atención hacia un tema, la geopolítica, asociada a los planteamientos de la derecha más reaccionaria y racista. De ahí que en sintiera la necesidad de decir lo siguiente en las mismas páginas iniciales del libro:

“Unas palabras, precisamente, sobre la problemática geopolítica. Se trata de una cuestión que en general la izquierda ha demorado más de lo conveniente en estudiar por una serie de razones que no podemos sino apenas enunciar aquí: concentración en el examen de temas “nacionales”; visión economicista del sistema internacional y del imperialismo; menosprecio de la geopolítica por la génesis reaccionaria de este pensamiento y por la utilización que de ella hicieron las dictaduras militares latinoamericanas de los años setenta y ochenta del siglo pasado. La generalización del concepto y las teorías de la geopolítica se encuentra en la obra de un geógrafo y general alemán, Karl Ernst Haushofer, quien propuso una visión fuertemente determinista de las relaciones entre espacio y política, y la inevitabilidad de la lucha internacional entre los diferentes Estados para asegurarse lo que, en un concepto de su autoría, calificó como “espacio vital” (Lebensraum). El desprestigio de esa teorización se relaciona con el hecho de que fue este concepto de Lebensraum el empleado por Hitler para justificar el expansionismo alemán que a la postre culminó con la tragedia de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Haushofer tuvo como fuente de inspiración la obra de un geógrafo y político británico, Halfor John Mackinder, quien en 1904 había escrito un muy influyente artículo sobre “El pivote geográfico de la historia” [1].

En todo caso el nacimiento de esta perspectiva tuvo lugar en un momento histórico signado por el predominio de las concepciones colonialistas, imperialistas y racistas de finales del siglo XIX y comienzos del XX. Si hoy reaparece, completamente resignificada en el pensamiento contestatario, es porque aporta una perspectiva imprescindible para elaborar una visión crítica del capitalismo en una fase como la actual, signada por el carácter ya global de ese modo de producción, su afiebrada depredación del medio ambiente y las prácticas salvajes de desposesión territorial padecidas por los pueblos en las últimas décadas. No debería sorprendernos entonces que dos de los principales pensadores de nuestro tiempo sean geógrafos marxistas: David Harvey y Milton Santos. Es que la política y la lucha de clases, tanto en lo nacional como en lo internacional, no se desenvuelven en el plano de las ideas o la retórica, sino sobre bases territoriales, y el entrelazamiento entre territorio (con los “bienes públicos o comunes” que los caracterizan), proyectos imperialistas de explotación y desposesión y resistencias populares al despojo requieren inevitablemente un tratamiento en donde el análisis de la geografía y el espacio se articulen con la consideración de los factores económicos, sociales, políticos y militares. En tiempos como los actuales, en los que la devastación capitalista del medio ambiente ha llegado a niveles desconocidos en la historia, una reflexión sistemática sobre la geopolítica del imperialismo es más urgente y necesaria que nunca. Tal como lo recordara el Comandante Fidel Castro en su profética intervención en la Cumbre de la Tierra –en Río de Janeiro, junio de 1992–, ‘una importante especie biológica está en riesgo de desaparecer por la rápida y progresiva liquidación de sus condiciones naturales de vida: el hombre’.”

Creo que las razones por las cuales desde la izquierda tenemos que recuperar la problemática geopolítica -¡que sí estaba presente, si bien expresadas con otro lenguaje, en el marxismo clásico!- son por demás convincentes. Pero, ¿a qué se debe que el pensamiento de la derecha haya hecho lo propio y que la obra de los intelectuales orgánicos del imperio (Zbigniew Brzezinski y Henry Kissinger, para tan sólo nombrar a los de mayor gravitación) y de los académicos del mainstream norteamericano deban recurrir cada vez con más frecuencia a consideraciones geopolíticas en sus estudios e investigaciones? ¿Se trata de una superficial y efímera moda intelectual, para reemplazar al ya difunto concepto de “globalización”, cuya muerte fue anunciada simultáneamente a su advenimiento o hay algo más?

Efectivamente hay algo más. No es un tema de modas intelectuales o escolásticas, y esta es la segunda cuestión que queríamos plantear. La reflexión geopolítica en el campo del pensamiento imperial es hija de una dolorosa (para algunos) comprobación: el imperio norteamericano ha superado su cenit y ha comenzado a recorrer el camino de su lento pero irreversible ocaso. Para los gobernantes y las clases dominantes de Estados Unidos de lo que se trata entonces es de tomar los recaudos necesarios para evitar dos desenlaces inaceptables: (a) que el crepúsculo imperial precipite una incontrolable reacción anárquica en cadena en el sistema internacional, en donde un  buen número de estados y una cantidad desconocida pero significativa de actores privados disponen de un arsenal atómico capaz de eliminar de raíz toda forma de vida en el planeta y, (b), que producto de la irreversible redistribución del poder mundial la seguridad nacional y el modo de vida de Estados Unidos puedan verse irremediablemente menoscabados. Esta es la razón de fondo por la cual los estrategas militares estadounidenses llevan más de diez años refiriéndose oblicuamente al tema y alertando, en sus escenarios bélicos prospectivos de largo plazo, que ese país deberá estar preparado para librar guerras, en los más diversos rincones de este planeta, durante los próximos veinte o treinta años. Doctrina de la “guerra infinita” cuyo objetivo no será acrecentar su primacía mundial mediante la incorporación de nuevas áreas de influencia o control sino apenas preservar las ya existentes, o evitar un catastrófico derrumbe de los parámetros geopolíticos globales.

Estos pronósticos tardaron más de diez años en incorporarse a los análisis del mandarinato académico y de los publicistas del imperio, profundamente enquistados en los grandes medios de comunicación. Pero ya no más. La terca realidad les ha obligado a hablar de lo que hasta hace poco era impensable, cuando una pandilla de reaccionarios nucleada en el Proyecto para el Nuevo Siglo Americano fundado por Dick Cheney en 1997 se ilusionó al creer que el mundo que aparecía ante sus ojos tras el derrumbe del Muro de Berlín y la implosión de la Unión Soviética había llegado para quedarse, para siempre, en una típica reiteración de la incapacidad del pensamiento burgués para comprender la historicidad de los fenómenos sociales [2]. Se trató de una ilusión infantil, así la juzgó ese viejo lobo del imperio que es Zbigniew Brzezinski, que la realidad desbarató en pocos años. Los atentados del 11-S derrumbaron no sólo las Torres Gemelas sino también los tranquilizadores espejismos con los cuales se entretenían los dizque expertos del Proyecto para el Nuevo Siglo Americano. No es casual que en su más reciente libro Brzezinski  dedique unas sorpresivas páginas introductorias al tema de la declinante longevidad de los imperios, y si bien no lo dice explícitamente está claro que para él, como para tantos otros, Estados Unidos es un imperio [3]. Claro está que se trataría de un imperio de nuevo tipo, movido por el idealismo Wilsoniano, como lo asegura Henry Kissinger en sus diversos escritos, idealismo que lo lleva a convertirse según esta autocomplaciente visión, en un abanderado de las mejores causas de la humanidad: democracia, derechos humanos, libertad, pluralismo, etcétera. En una palabra, el país a quien Dios presuntamente le habría encomendado la realización de un “Destino Manifiesto” y en virtud del cual sembraría aquellos nobles valores e instituciones a lo largo y ancho del planeta.  Un razonamiento muy parecido había sido formulado por Henry Kissinger en un libro publicado en 1994 y traducido al castellano al año siguiente: La Diplomacia. En él el ex Secretario de Estado de Richard Nixon advertía sobre la precariedad de los ordenamientos internacionales al observar que “con cada siglo ha ido encogiéndose la duración de los sistemas internacionales. El orden que surgió de la Paz de Westfalia duró 150 años … el del Congreso de Viena se mantuvo durante 100 años … el de la Guerra Fría terminó después de 40 años.” Y concluye: “Nunca antes los componentes del orden mundial, su capacidad de interactuar y sus objetivos han cambiado con tanta rapidez, tanta profundidad o tan globalmente.” [4]

Dado todo lo anterior no sorprende la nota que días atrás publicara David Brooks en el New York Times y que fuera reproducida en Buenos Aires por La Nación y, con seguridad, en otros diarios de América Latina y el Caribe. Brooks, un hombre de clara persuasión conservadora, cita en su nota la opinión de Charles Hill, uno de los mayores expertos del Departamento de Estado, ya retirado de su cargo, quien dice textualmente que: “La gran lección que enseña la historia de la alta estrategia es que cuando un sistema internacional establecido entra en fase de deterioro, muchos líderes actúan con indolencia y despreocupación, y felicitándose a sí mismos. Cuando los lobos del mundo huelen esto, por supuesto que empiezan a moverse para sondear las ambigüedades del sistema que envejece y así arrebatar de un tarascón los bocados más preciados.” Brooks refleja, con desazón, la literatura que cada vez con mayor frecuencia examina el proceso de decadencia imperial, esa “fase de deterioro” a la que aludía Hill, si bien no todos los autores se atreven a abandonar los eufemismos tranquilizadores. El último número de la revista Foreign Affairs, el conservador órgano del establishment diplomático estadounidense, presenta un par de artículos de dos de los mayores especialistas en el análisis de las relaciones internacionales y en los cuales, más allá de sus diferencias, concuerdan en el hecho de que “la geopolítica está de vuelta” [5]. Y si lo está es precisamente porque la correlación de fuerzas que en el plano internacional se cristalizara después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y, sobre todo, las fantasías que anunciaban el advenimiento de “un nuevo siglo americano” se derrumbaron estrepitosamente. Ejemplos: Estados Unidos es derrotado inapelablemente (29 a 3) en una votación en la OEA que pretendía decretar la intervención de ese organismo en la crisis que afecta a la  República Bolivariana de Venezuela; asiste impotente a la reincorporación de Crimea a Rusia, pese a que en una actitud insólita y provocativa su Secretaria de Estado Adjunta para Asuntos Euroasiáticos, Victoria Nuland, estuvo en la Plaza Maidan de Kiev repartiendo panecillos y galletitas a las bandas de neonazis que luego tomarían por asalto los edificios gubernamentales y constituirían un nuevo gobierno, mismo que fue rápidamente reconocido por las corruptas y decrépitas democracias capitalistas; y sus bravuconadas y amenazas en contra de Siria se derrumbaron como un castillo de naipes en cuanto Rusia -y de modo más cauteloso, China- le hicieron saber a Washington que no permanecerían de brazos cruzados si la Casa Blanca lanzaba una nueva aventura bélica en la región. Cambios inesperados, muy profundos y sucedidos en muy corto tiempo y que nos obligan a reflexionar sobre -y a actuar en- una transición geopolítica global que difícilmente podrá llevarse a cabo de manera pacífica. Si atendemos a las lecciones de la historia, todas las transiciones geopolíticas precedentes fueron violentas. Nada permite suponer que hoy la historia será más benigna para nuestros contemporáneos, especialmente si se repara en la fenomenal desproporción de recursos militares que retiene el centro imperial, superior a la de la totalidad de los demás países del planeta.

[1] Mackinder (1861-1947) sostenía que en el planeta hay una “Isla Mundial” que es el sitio donde se concentran las mayores riquezas naturales y que está conformada por la gran masa euroasiática y africana. Al interior de este enorme espacio se recorta, según este autor, un pivote que se extiende desde el Volga hacia el Este, hasta el río YangTse en la China, y desde los Himalayas hasta el Océano Ártico y Siberia. Quien controle ese pivote, sostiene Mackinder, controlará la Isla Mundial y quien ejerza ese control podrá extenderlo a todo el mundo. Tiempo después, el geopolítico norteamericano Nicholas Spykman (1893-1943) re-elaboró las concepciones de Mackinder y acentuó la importancia del anillo de tierras y mares que rodean al pivote central. Si ese cerco es exitoso, asegura Spykman, la potencia que lo consiga dominará Eurasia, y quien controle Eurasia regirá los destinos del mundo. Zbigniew Brzezinski es el más encumbrado continuador de esta tradición que le asigna al pivote central de la masa euroasiática un papel crucial en el dominio del planeta. La obsesión por cercar ese pivote con toda suerte de alianzas político-militares alimentó la política exterior de los Estados Unidos desde el triunfo de la Revolución Rusa en 1917 hasta nuestros días, como lo prueban los mapas utilizados por Brzezinski en su ya referida obra.

[2] Recordar que Cheney luego se convertiría, bajo la presidencia de George W. Bush, en Vicepresidente de los Estados Unidos durante sus dos mandatos y uno de los personajes de mayor influencia en el proceso decisional de la Casa Blanca, algo poco común si se recuerda el carácter eminentemente protocolar, casi decorativo, de los vicepresidentes en la república imperial norteamericana.

Game is the male revolt against the sexual caste system imposed by feminism. The “red pill” is simply an acknowledgement that what women say they want, and what they actually want, are two different things. Even some women who say that they want a “traditional” relationship are not willing to do what it takes to get this by actually behaving like a lady, staying in shape, or not detonating a relationship over trivia. By definition, game is men learning what actually works with women ^[2] and using it to fulfill their primal needs for sex, companionship, and, ultimately, fulfilling relationships and family life. 

When a member of the Parasitic Class like an affirmative action journalist or Women’s Studies professor gives his or her opinion on something, it behooves the reader to ask himself, “How does this person benefit if I believe what they are telling me?” The feminist rage against game is the rage of the effete fop against his uppity peasants. Game shifts the frame on sexual politics by allowing men to reclaim sexual power, punish female misbehavior, and pursue their own interests. It is aspirational, teaching people to look above their station, and in that sense, it is a destabilizing force within the social system. It teaches men to break free of their assigned place as the kulaks in the modern social order, responsible for subsidizing everyone else.

Notably, while “men’s sites” like Return of Kings focus on self-improvement, learning skills, and physical fitness, recent feminist writing has focused on justifying or even promoting moral flaws such as obesity, adultery, and fraud. The manosphere promotes excellence; feminism promotes equality. The default feminist rhetoric on sexual politics seems to be an inexhaustible series of variations on the theme of “Wow, just wow.” It’s not surprisingly that in such an intellectual desert even somewhat juvenile articles on “text message game” seem like an oasis.

Moreover “game” fits into the subset of Dissident Right movements that recognize there is no contradiction between Traditionalism and science. “Game” heaps scorn on the “pedestaling” behavior ^[3] of many religious conservatives and reactionaries who want to treat women like medieval princesses. Instead, game recognizes that women are sexually voracious in their own way, that they derive much of their self and societal value from their sexuality, and that many of the conservative beliefs about chivalry and virtuous women only make sense in a social context that privileges patriarchy, families, and fidelity. If there is one Christian teaching I can agree with, it is the doctrine of “total depravity” for both men and women.

It’s not that “science” is an enemy of Tradition – it’s that certain small “t” traditions arose because human beings act with an evolutionary program running in the background. The impulses of sexual selection, competition, and attraction are rooted deep within the unconscious of the species. So called “social constructs,” like prizing female virginity, or the willingness of men to sacrifice for women, are rooted in biological and empirical realities, not religious mysticism.

What defines the real modern Right, as opposed to the reactionaries, is understanding that objective realities are reflected within ancient mythologies and practices. The traditionalist teachings of thousands of years ago are more applicable to modern society than a PhD’s eminently credentialed and empirically flawed ramblings on Jezebel. We should be cautious about modern intellectuals casually dismissing the wisdom of millennia as “outdated” when these same people will mock religious beliefs while holding far more absurd (and less empirically supported) beliefs about racial equality.

Class Struggle

Heterosexual men are, as a class, a designated oppressor group in the system that is developing. By teaching men to question their place in this order, and leading them to more subversive conclusions about tradition, human biodiversity, and racial realism, the “manosphere” is declaring itself an enemy of the system.

But this isn’t just an ideological challenge. The personal is political and nowhere is the new hierarchy being enforced with more fanaticism than in sexual politics. Of course, the corollary is that every challenge, no matter how small, takes on new importance. In every nightclub, bar, and coffee shop, a man approaching a woman using game has been elevated to a political act. Men recognizing a desire and acting on it using knowledge about social dynamics is a challenge to the sexual serfdom that demands men they accept their place — under women. And that can lead to further rebellion.

Of course, unless it leads to other things, “game” is merely a means, not an end. And while “game” is based on highly subversive and inegalitarian premises, the ends are hardly revolutionary. After all, meaningless hook ups between immature boy-men and proud “sluts” is hardly a challenge to the consumerist culture. The value of game is that it even though it is directed towards profane ends, it can be the first step on an upward path of rebellious ascension.

Know Your Place

A telling example of the Left’s attitude towards game is the reaction of one Chris Gethard, a functionary for the Culture of Critique. He posted ^[4] a video telling men to avoid these ideas and was praised for it by Lindy West of the female affirmative action outlet Jezebel. Gethard flaps his weak hands and insists that men who practice game “should be legally bound [to] never find love.” But more importantly, he tells men to accept that they need to shut up and do what they are told by the media. After all, “One day you’ll be, like, 37, and you’ll have a mortgage, and you’ll be totally okay with that. You’ll be completely fine.”

Needless to say, one look at his face and you know every opinion he’s ever had and why none of them are worth listening to. As for “Lindy West,” her mere physical appearance (trigger warning ^[5]) warrants the return of the patriarchy, the immediate overthrow of the American government, and an Axis Victory in the Second World War, among other things.

What is important is the revelation of the end game of feminism and progressivism – don’t protest, accept your fate, and be happy you have your big screen TV that you bought with your credit card. Far from being a movement of liberation, progressivism is the handmaiden of consumerism. Don’t question these beliefs, swallow the pretty lies and we’ll let you play your video games. Know your place.

It’s more than an ideology — egalitarianism is a system of control. What the Dark Enlightenment terms the Cathedral imposes a set hierarchy of groups, along with codes of behavior. And while the punishment from deviating from codes of behavior isn’t quite as severe as what samurai meted out to impudent peasants, the principle is the same. All the sophomoric arguments, expletive-filled feminist ranting, social network shaming, and insufferably self-congratulatory #hashtags are simply the enforcement arm of this social structure.

The Bridge

For all the “metapolitics,” all the essays, all the conferences, and all the books and speeches, the White Right has only succeeded in creating a subculture, and a fairly closed one at that. No one casually enters white advocacy. The costs can be great and so are the rewards, but once you are in, you don’t go back (unless you turn traitor ^[6]). What it has largely failed to do is build a “bridge” to ordinary white people, who have largely been intimidated from participating in street demonstrations, attending conferences, or even speaking publicly about their beliefs.

Game, in contrast, has succeeded as a bridge to subversive ideas. While some men can tell themselves they don’t need white identity, every straight man needs to appeal to women, and not every man knows how. Game meets an existential need. More importantly, game meets the two essential characteristics of the real Right. It is rooted in empirical reality and scientific truth while still respecting Tradition, and it challenges the official orthodoxy about egalitarianism.

It’s no accident that the Southern Poverty Law Center attacked the “manosphere” as a “hate,” leading to widespread mockery. More importantly, after this occurred, many of the most important manosphere sites and commentators have been speaking frankly about racial realist concepts and ideas. Discussions on forums within this subculture are well-informed and more grounded and less ideological than the raging abstract arguments that plague White Nationalist websites. The process of radicalization (or, more accurately and charitably, waking up) is taking place amongst a huge segment of the population that this movement has never been able to reach. And regardless of what White Nationalists think about “game,” the System perceives game as a threat.

Endgame and Revolution

Why does this absurd system exist, something so paranoid that it panics over shy men trying to learn pickup lines? The same reason most things exist – someone is benefiting from it. The more deracinated society becomes and the more families are broken down, the more relationships become a simple function of the consumer economy. A hookup culture provides no barriers between the individual and the market. The fact that many Western women believe slaving away in a cubicle and participating in a garbage culture is “freedom” while raising children is “slavery” testifies to the power of social conditioning. This conditioning is part of the process of turning sex and relationships into products to be sold – or rationed out – by an increasingly totalitarian system of control. “Equality” is just part of the scam – in the end, this system is based, like any other, on the reality of power.

The solution to sexual serfdom is not revolution from the periphery, but rebellion from the center. Ride the tiger. Recognizing equality as a scam is the first step. No one believes in equality – especially in the bedroom. Act accordingly. If people are insistent on turning themselves and their bodies into a product, treat them that away, take advantage of it, and use what works. We must approach the world not as serfs, but as barbarians ^[7]. We have no stake in what they have built except to take what is ours. What should fill you is not a sense of entitlement, but aggressive contempt, and a desire to conquer.

Both men and women can use what the manosphere preaches. Equality is a scam – always be seeking to rise. And in your upward path, find those few men – and women – among the ruins. They are still there in the wasteland, and shared contempt for egalitarianism is as strong a foundation as any. Together, as comrades, lovers, and eventually families, men and women can forge a new people and create something worth preserving. This culture and system sure as hell isn’t it.

Vincent Vauclin est le fondateur et le coordinateur national de la Dissidence Française, mouvement   fort intéressant avec qui nous partageons nombres d'analyses. Cette entrevue permettra au lecteur de mieux connaître la Dissidence Française ainsi que Vincent Vauclin, qui a déjà publié deux livres ("Cendres" et "Putsch") que nous avions recensés il y a quelques mois.  

1. Le C.N.C.: Qu’est-ce qui, dans votre parcours personnel, vous a amené vers vos positions actuelles et vous a poussé à vous engager sur un plan politique ?

V.V.: A l'instar de nombre de camarades issus de l'extrême-gauche, mon cheminement suit plusieurs étapes : la base, c'est la prise de conscience de classe. C'est-à-dire la prise en compte des facteurs socio-économiques et des convergences d'intérêts qui impliquent un rapport de force constant entre exploiteurs et exploités. 

La suite logique, c'est l'analyse du système de domination, de la superstructure du capitalisme contemporain, et des rouages du processus d'aliénation qui permettent son hégémonie : à ce stade, l'influence de certains anarchistes fut pour moi assez déterminante, et la lecture du pamphlet L’insurrection qui vient marqua véritablement un tournant. 

Dès lors, je me situais dans une démarche militante qui impliquait déjà la formation d'une avant-garde révolutionnaire destinée à créer les conditions du « grand soir » insurrectionnel durant lequel les masses inverseraient le rapport de force.

C'est à cette époque que la contestation contre la réforme des retraites de Sarkozy prenait de l'ampleur : les premiers blocages de dépôts de carburant s'amorçaient et je voyais là une occasion à saisir. Avec enthousiasme, j'ai participé à cette mobilisation qui, au bout de deux semaines, donnait déjà des résultats encourageants : pénurie générale de carburant, manifestations, files d'attente aux stations d'essence, ambiance tendue, gouvernement discrédité etc... La gauche radicale était en effervescence, on sentait qu'une brèche s'était ouverte. Et puis rien. Les syndicats majoritaires (la CGT en tête) lâchèrent les travailleurs aux moments précis où la situation pouvaient enfin basculer. Les raffineries reprirent progressivement leurs activités, les derniers foyers de contestation furent balayés par les CRS, et le gouvernement Sarkozy sortit renforcé de cet épisode en bénéficiant in extremis du soutien officieux des centrales syndicales majoritaires. 

Ces événements catalysèrent ma compréhension de la réalité des rapports de forces et, surtout, de leur complexité. Dès lors, j'abandonnais la lecture simpliste et inefficiente de l'orthodoxie marxiste. Je comprenais le leurre que constituais « le mythe du grand soir », et celui de la bienpensance cosmopolite véhiculée par l'internationalisme gauchiste, caution morale de la politique immigrationiste du Capital. Les partis et syndicats d'extrême-gauche, des mouvements révolutionnaires ? Non, des rouages, parmi d’autres, de la machinerie capitaliste, intégralement sous contrôle, endoctrinant, noyautant et neutralisant tout élan contestataire. L'oligarchie, un simple ensemble d'intérêts économiques interdépendants ? Non, une caste communautaire qui travaille activement à la dissolution de la France, non seulement sur le plan économique, mais également et surtout sur le plan social, moral, culturel, et ethnique. La gauche libérale et la droite financière sont les deux mâchoires d'une même tenaille qui se referme sur notre civilisation. La subversion morale précède la domination du Capital. L'anéantissement des structures traditionnelles de notre pays fait le lit de sa dissolution ethnique. C'est la lutte finale, camarades ? Certes, mais certainement pas celle que vous croyez...

2. Le C.N.C.: Vous êtes le fondateur de la Dissidence Française. Pouvez-vous présenter votre mouvement à nos lecteurs et en dégager les objectifs fondamentaux ?

V.V.: La Dissidence Française est le mouvement de riposte radicale à l’idéologie libérale et cosmopolite. C’est une force qui se construit depuis plus de trois ans maintenant, et qui poursuit une action à la fois militante et métapolitique en ouvrant des fronts nouveaux. Notre organisation formule une synthèse des différents courants de ce que l’on pourrait appeler la mouvance « dissidente » ou « non-conforme », rassemblant ainsi des centaines de militants issus d’horizons divers, qui partagent une même vision du monde, une même intransigeance, et une même énergie qui s’exprime dans un activisme soutenu, tout particulièrement contre ce que nous appelons « le Régime », c’est-à-dire la république des partis, des loges et des lobbies. 

Concrètement, nous avons déjà mené des centaines d’actions dans près de 40 départements : tractages, collages d’affiches, déploiements de banderoles, actions « coup de poing », manifestations, maraudes solidaires pour les SDF et précaires etc… Et tout ça, de façon autonome : la Dissidence Française n’a pas de compte bancaire, et n’a donc jamais réclamé un seul euro de don ou de cotisation à ses militants et sympathisants.

Parallèlement, nous développons une communication hyperactive sur internet et notamment sur les réseaux sociaux, nous adaptons notre communication aux exigences d’aujourd’hui, nous formulons continuellement une critique positive de la mouvance dissidente et des tendances régressives qui s’y manifestent, nous tissons des liens avec la plupart des organisations non-conformes et participons aux dynamiques de convergence contre le mariage gay, l’idéologie du genre, la pression fiscale et migratoire, le traité transatlantique et la mainmise des lobbies communautaires sur les institutions françaises et européennes. 

3.  Le C.N.C.: Quelles sont les formes de militantisme les plus adaptées à notre époque selon vous ? L’importance accordée aux visuels, et à l’image en général, que l’on retrouve dans votre mouvement est-elle une composante de votre manière de militer ?

V.V.: Le monde Spectaculaire-Marchand dépense chaque année des dizaines de milliards d’euros en publicités et autres campagnes marketing. Ce n’est pas pour rien. Au-delà de l’impact immédiat de ces campagnes sur les consommateurs, qui sont ainsi quotidiennement incités à se tourner vers telle ou telle marque, tel ou tel produit, il est évident qu’un tel conditionnement remplit une fonction politique et « culturelle », inoculant insidieusement l’idéologie dominante au corps social, façonnant jour après jour cet homme-masse, éternel esclave de toutes les tyrannies, sur le consentement tacite duquel repose l’ensemble du totalitarisme moderne. On notera d’ailleurs la teinte systématiquement « politiquement correcte » des campagnes publicitaires, surtout lorsque celles-ci se drapent d’un caractère subversif pour cibler, par exemple, la jeunesse : il s’agit toujours de faire l’apologie de la transgression morale, du métissage, du mondialisme, de l’antifascisme, de la « tolérance » et de je ne sais quelle autre connerie gauchisante. 

Nous ne pouvons donc tout simplement pas faire l’impasse sur la communication. La forme importe autant que le fond, et c’est la raison pour laquelle nous consacrons effectivement beaucoup d’énergie pour forger une communication à notre image : virale, jeune, efficace, avant-gardiste, dotée de ses propres codes, etc. L’idée étant de renverser, en notre faveur, « l’asymétrie communicationnelle » qui prévaut aujourd’hui. Plus clairement, le message que nous devons faire passer est le suivant : contrairement à ce qu’ils prétendent, les ringards, les moralistes, les conformistes, ce sont eux. L’avenir, la jeunesse, le changement véritable, c’est nous. Et c’est par le militantisme que nous entendons incarner et donc « vitaliser » ces principes.

4.  Le C.N.C.: La Dissidence Française prône l’abstention, pourquoi ? Le vote FN n’est-il cependant pas un bon indicateur – certes imparfait – pour appréhender le ras-le-bol du Français de base face au Système ? 

V.V.: Nous refusons tout simplement d’apporter notre onction démocratique à des institutions qui ne disposent d’aucune légitimité. Prenons un exemple récent : le référendum sur le Traité Constitutionnel Européen qui fut organisé en 2005. Les Français ont voté à 55% « Non ». Moins de 3 ans plus tard, le traité identique est pourtant ratifié par les parlementaires UMPS. Est-ce normal ? Est-ce acceptable ? Peut-on faire comme si cette forfaiture n’avait pas eu lieu ? Non. Quand on connait les implications considérables de la ratification de ce Traité pour notre pays, c’est tout simplement scandaleux et inadmissible. Par principe donc, nous refusons de participer à cette mascarade. Puisque le match est truqué d’avance, nous n’irons pas sur le terrain. Et considérons donc que les institutions « représentatives » ne représentent pas le peuple Français, et qu’en conséquence les scrutins qu’elles convoquent sont illégaux. L’abstention, c’est donc une façon de priver de priver le Système de son carburant électoral, de tarir la seule source de légitimité sur laquelle il peut compter. Si, comme nous, l’on considère que la « république française » n’est ni une république (puisqu’elle ne sert pas le bien commun, la res publica), ni Française (puisqu’elle est inféodée à des intérêts étrangers à ceux du peuple Français), il n’y a qu’un seul choix possible : celui de l’entrée en dissidence, de la rupture. En clair : l’abstention est un choix politique, sans doute le plus radical qui soit.

Pour répondre à la seconde partie de votre question, je dirais que le Front National est effectivement le thermomètre d’un ras-le-bol général, et que ses scores reflètent d’abord le rejet du « politiquement correct » véhiculé par les médias de masses et l’ensemble des partis parlementaires. Pour autant, je ne crois pas une seconde à un changement par les urnes, ni à une victoire décisive du Front National dans les années qui viennent. 

 

 

5. Le C.N.C.: Dans le monde moderne, l’ennemi est partout autour de nous, sur un plan institutionnel, culturel, politique, social, national et international. Cela amène de nombreux résistants à ne pas savoir où réellement frapper, perdus face à une entité aux innombrables facettes. Que leur conseilleriez-vous d’attaquer en priorité ? 

V.V.: Notre narration collective nous échappe. La barbarie moderne s’appuie d’abord sur une vision du monde innervée des illusions qui sont quotidiennement inoculées au corps social et plongent la société dans un état de stase psychotique propice à son délitement. C’est un phénomène « kaléidoscopique » qui altère la perception de la réalité par nos contemporains et conditionne l’ensemble de leurs attitudes et comportements, introduisant des représentations éphémères qui se succèdent l’une après l’autre sans cohérence apparente. Le regard affûté y distinguera cependant des constantes qui ne relèvent pas du hasard mais bien d’un projet totalitaire. Cet état d’hébétude relève en effet d’une stratégie élaborée, socio-psychologique, de manipulation et de neutralisation (on parle « d’ingénierie sociale », de « Tittytainment »). L’avancée souterraine et métastatique de la subversion résulte de cette stratégie systémique d’immunosuppresion, et c’est la raison pour laquelle rien ne pourra être accompli en l’absence d’une décontamination identitaire préalable et d’une désintoxication idéologique radicale. C’est donc sur le front de la catharsis que nous devons d’abord nous mobiliser, c’est sur le champ de bataille de l’expiation collective que nous devons combattre, contre les propagandes de tous bords, contre l’ensemble des déviations modernes, contre ce que Philippe Muray appelait « l’Empire du Bien ». Qu’ils nous qualifient de racistes, de misogynes, de fascistes, d’antisémites, de réactionnaires, d’homophobes, d’intolérants, de tout ce qu’ils veulent : cela ne présente absolument aucun intérêt, car ils ne nous jugent qu’à l’aune de leurs néo-principes frelatés qui, tôt ou tard, seront purement et simplement démentis par le réel. 

6. Le C.N.C.: Quelle est votre position sur l’immigration et les populations d’origine extra-européenne présentes sur notre sol ? 

V.V.: Avant la fin de ce siècle, si rien ne change, les Européens seront pour la première fois minoritaires sur leur propre territoire. Céder sur le terrain de la sémantique ou du politiquement correct, c’est déjà capituler, alors soyons clairs : nos sociétés se sont vues imposer un modèle multiculturel qui, in fine, conduira vraisemblablement à la marginalisation puis à l’extinction de la race blanche. Il ne s’agit pas d’un « délire d’extrême-droite », mais des projections officielles de l’ONU. C’est d’une logique implacable : d’un côté, les oligarques encouragent des politiques de dénatalité ciblant les Européens de souche (apologie de l’avortement, des déviances homosexuelles et « transsexuelles », idéologie du genre, propagande antifamiliale etc.), de l’autre, ils font entrer chaque année des dizaines de millions d’allogènes en Europe et encouragent le métissage au nom du « vivre-ensemble ». Concrètement, on appelle ça un génocide. Nous ne l’accepterons pas. Nous sommes clairement opposés à l’immigration de masse, et défendons l’idée d’une politique concertée, mais urgente, de remigration des populations extra-européennes, condition sine qua non de la préservation de notre identité ethno-culturelle. D’une manière ou d’une autre, nous redeviendrons maîtres chez nous, car il n’est pas envisageable que nous laissions la France et l’Europe, matrices des formes les plus supérieures de civilisation, sombrer dans le chaos du cosmopolitisme niveleur, du métissage global et du mondialisme uniformisant. 

7. Le C.N.C.: Votre dernier livre « Putsch » a beaucoup fait parler de lui et nous ne reviendrons pas sur sa thèse (voir pour cela notre chronique et cette entrevue vidéo). Il a suscité un certain nombre d’objections, en particulier dans le texte « Il n’y aura pas de putsch ». Qu’avez-vous à répondre aux objections qui vous ont été faites ?

V.V.: Paru en septembre 2013, mon livre a anticipé la révolte de l’Armée Française avec 8 mois d’avance. Et je remarque que la plupart de mes détracteurs se font désormais beaucoup plus discrets, car plus le temps le passe et plus l’actualité semble me donner raison. Mon postulat de départ est le suivant : tôt ou tard, l’Armée Française sera amenée à jouer un rôle déterminant dans le dénouement de la crise profonde dans laquelle s’enfonce notre pays. En publiant Putsch, j’ai lancé un défi aux forces armées en prenant ouvertement position pour un coup d’état militaire, c’est-à-dire pour l’option la plus radicale qui soit. Car il faut distinguer le putsch au sens strict, c’est-à-dire le renversement complet et brutal du Régime, par la destitution de François Hollande, la suspension de la constitution, l’instauration de la loi martiale et la mise en place d’un gouvernement provisoire de salut public, et le putsch au sens large, qui englobe différentes formes de révoltes martiales, aux portées et aux implications plus limitées, et qui peuvent constituer plusieurs paliers vers un putsch intégral. 

En mars 2013, l’Armée fit sauter Jérôme Cahuzac (qui, alors ministre du budget, entendait réduire drastiquement le budget de la Défense Nationale) : c’est un exemple de ce que j’appellerai un « putsch partiel », par lequel les militaires ont mené une opération de neutralisation d’une cible menaçante. Avec le succès que l’on sait. Pourtant, le gouvernement Hollande poursuit son entreprise de démantèlement de l’Etat, et pour cause : Hollande est totalement bloqué, à sa gauche par les lobbies communautaires, libertaires et maçonniques qui entendent faire passer en force leur projet d’une société individualiste, multiculturelle et déracinée, et à sa droite par les lobbies de la finance mondialiste qui comptent sur ce gouvernement antinational pour maintenir coûte que coûte le système de racket fiscal organisé au profit des banques. Mais la situation n’est plus tenable.

L’Armée ne lâche pas, les militaires n’acceptent plus d’être la variable budgétaire d’un gouvernement inféodé aux intérêts de la finance, et non à ceux de la France. Le mois dernier, le chef d’état-major des armées, les chefs d’état-major des trois armes, et une vingtaine de généraux ont fait savoir qu’ils démissionneraient en bloc si Hollande persistait dans son projet. Un message réaffirmé par le Général Vincent Desportes sur Europe 1 qui, et c’est une première, lança clairement et publiquement un ultimatum à François Hollande. C’est du jamais vu. Cette grogne est générale, et ne se limite pas à l’Armée : j’ai également reçu nombre de soutiens de la part de gendarmes et de policiers (des soutiens émanant par exemple de la Direction Centrale de la Police Judiciaire, des groupements parisiens de gendarmes mobiles, ou de CRS avec qui j’ai pu discuter directement). Les objections formulées par mes détracteurs me semblent donc tout simplement dépassées. Tous ces faits témoignent de la crise profonde d’un Régime en phase terminale, crise qui va bien au-delà de simples considérations budgétaires.

8. Le C.N.C.: Dominique Venner pensait qu’il fallait, préalablement à toute action politique de grande ampleur, faire changer la mentalité du peuple. Qu’en pensez-vous ?

V.V.: Le « peuple »… Existe-t-il, déjà ? Ou existe-t-il encore, plutôt ? C’est là toute la question: que reste-t-il de notre peuple aujourd’hui, après des décennies, voire des siècles, de subversion libérale et cosmopolite ? Je pense que « le peuple », en tant que communauté de destin et réalité identitaire, n’existe plus. L’atomisation de la société française par des forces dissolvantes, de droite comme de gauche, a scellé la tombe du « peuple », en tant qu’entité politique et culturelle homogène. 

Mais je rejoins Dominique Venner lorsqu’il nous dit que « les racines des civilisations ne disparaissent pas tant que n’a pas disparu le peuple qui en était la matrice », ce qui signifie que si le « peuple » n’existe plus, le Volk, lui, existe encore. Le pays réel, celui de la terre et du sang, conserve encore jalousement les secrets de sa grandeur passée et de sa renaissance future. 

A l’heure de la convergence des catastrophes et face au péril que constitue le Grand Remplacement, il ne s’agit pas simplement de « changer les mentalités », mais de puiser dans les archétypes et les mythes les plus anciens, de réactiver les atavismes les plus profonds, et de réveiller ainsi les forces immémoriales qui affranchiront nos patries du destin cataleptique que leur avait promis les tenants de la « fin de l’histoire ».  Jusqu’ici, il manquait quelque chose de fort, au-delà des formules convenues et des mots d’ordres rabâchés. Il manquait un acte héroïque, un symbole de fondation, une figure polarisante. Il manquait un signal. Ce signal nous fut donné, le 21 Mai 2013, peu après 16 heures… Il nous appartient, ici et maintenant, d’en tirer les conséquences.
