Die Graphiken A. Paul Webers (18931980) gehören zu den bekanntesten künstlerischen Äußerungen der deutschen Rechten. An Aktualität haben sie bis heute nichts eingebüßt.

Der aus dem thüringischen Arnstadt stammende Heinrich Andreas Paul Weber, so sein bürgerlicher Name, schuf während seiner Schaffenszeit über 5000 Graphiken. Von 1908 bis 1914 war er Mitglied im Jung-​Wandervogel. Seine hier geweckte Liebe zu Nation und Natur spiegelten sich in vielen seiner späteren Werke. Erfahrungen konnte er bereits als Gebrauchsgraphiker sammeln, bis er 1916 erste Karikaturen und Zeichnungen für die Zeitschrift der 10. Armee entwarf.

Weber beschäftigte sich mit den unterschiedlichsten Themen. Zeichnungen wie Der Denunziant, Wir sind überm Berg! oder Das Gerücht, haben über die Jahrzehnte längst Kultstatus erreicht. Sie dürften mittlerweile bekannter sein als ihr Schöpfer. Die übrigen Zeichnungen werden gern vergessen ‒ lohnen sich jedoch unzweifelhaft für eine nähere Betrachtung.

Die NS-​Bewegung als reaktionäre Nebelkerze

apw2.jpgZusammen mit Ernst Niekisch und dessen Widerstands-​Verlag brachte Weber 1932 die Schrift Hitler – Ein deutsches Verhängnis heraus, der er fünf Federzeichnungen beifügte. Eine der erschütterndsten Darstellungen trägt den Titel Der Sumpf. Unter düsterem Himmel ist ein schier endlos erscheinendes Feld zu sehen, welches gespickt mit zerfetzten Fahnen und einer Standarte ist. Aus Gräbern gestreckt, bieten sich unzählige Arme zum Hitlergruß dar. Obwohl hier vor allem das Versinken der NS-​Bewegung im bürgerlichen Sumpf angeprangert werden sollte, schwingt im Bilde doch eine dunkle Vorahnung mit. Das lag auch in der Intention des Künstlers.

Die Reihe dieser gegen Hitler gerichteten Bilder ist aus der nationalrevolutionären Richtung heraus zu verstehen, wie sie damals insbesondere Ernst Niekisch vertrat. Nach Niekischs Theorie mußte die drohende Hitlerherrschaft in einer erneuten totalen Niederlage Deutschlands gipfeln. Er sah in Hitler nur einen Vertreter der für ihn überholten wilhelminischen Epoche. Niekisch jedoch war der Ansicht, Deutschland bedürfe eines revolutionären Staatsmannes. Der uniformierte Kleinbürger in Gestalt Hitlers aber verzichte zugunsten eines bürgerlichen Lebensstils auf die Strenge der eigentlichen Herausforderung der Zeit. Unter dieser Prämisse bleibt auch das bekannteste Bild aus dieser Reihe, Deutsches Verhängnis, zu verstehen, welches später auch in Schulbüchern abgedruckt wurde.

Zeichnungen für die Kriegspropaganda

Nach der Inhaftierung Niekischs 1937 wegen angeblichen Hochverrats wurde auch Weber für einige Monate verhaftet. Gegen Kaution kam er nach circa einem halben Jahr wieder frei. Trotz grundsätzlich distanzierter Haltung zum NS-​Regime und seinen Zeichnungen für den Widerstands-​Verlag arbeitete Weber während des Zweiten Weltkrieges auch für die deutsche Kriegspropaganda. Nach eigenen Angaben hätte er jedoch nichts gezeichnet, womit er ohne Goebbels Auftrag nicht einverstanden gewesen wäre. Bemerkenswert bleiben aus dieser Periode vor allem die antibritischen Zeichnungen, insbesondere die Bilder Der Plumpudding und Westminster. Aus ihnen spricht eine deutsche Sicht auf den westlich-​liberalen Kapitalismus und dessen vermeintliche Segnungen.

Selten jedoch schockieren Webers Bilder derart wie in Der Sumpf. Ein typisches Bild Webers ist geprägt durch weiche Formen, üppige Rundungen und irrwitzige Gestalten. Sie lassen in das Thema, und sei es noch so ernst, eine deutliche Spur Gelassenheit einfließen. Gerade das dargestellte Böse erscheint bei Weber aber nicht weniger bedrohlich als etwa bei dessen Künstlerkollegen Alfred Kubin, dessen Bilder zumeist auf den ersten Blick schon schockierend auf den Betrachter wirken.

Aber Weber erzeugt gerade dadurch, daß er den eigentlichen Schrecken auf eine tiefere Ebene in seinen Bildern verlagert, einen Sinn für eben jene Banalität menschlicher Unzulänglichkeiten. Der Schrecken vermittelt sich dem Betrachter nicht sofort, sondern erst durch die nähere Beschäftigung. Die Möglichkeit der Bewahrung menschlicher Größe bleibt so gewahrt, während Kubin vor allem ein Gefühl der Hilflosigkeit erzeugt.

Durch gegenständliche Kunst zu höheren Wahrheiten

Es gilt hier, was Martin Heidegger über das Kunstwerk am Beispiel des Schuh-​Gemäldes van Goghs sagte. Durch deren Darstellung erfahren wir weniger, was es mit jenen konkret gemalten Schuhen auf sich hat. Vielmehr bekommen wir durch ihre Darstellung eine Idee der Schuhe an sich vermittelt: Sie werden durch das Kunstwerk aus der Zeit heraus genommen und verkünden so eine höhere Wahrheit. Das zeigt sich ebenso an Webers Lithographie Rückgrat raus!

Ein weiteres Bild Webers ziert das soeben neu erschienene Buch Manfred Kleine-​Hartlages: Der Schlag ins Leere von 1951. Zu sehen ist darauf der deutsche Michel mit Schlafmütze und Nachthemd. An einem Baum stehend, einer Hinrichtungsszene gleich, scheint er Suizid zu begehen. Er hält sich einen Zimmermannsnagel an den Kopf und will mit dem Hammer darauf schlagen. Der apathische Blick erinnert dabei an einen Zustand der Trance, wie er im Zusammenhang mit einer absurden Tat unter Hypnose denkbar wäre.

Tod oder Kopfschmerz

Das Bild passt ohne Frage auch in unsere zeitlichen Umstände. Es erfüllt seine Aufgabe, indem es die erkannte Tendenz auf die Spitze treibt und künstlerisch wiedergibt. Die Situation aus dem Bild heraus zu Ende denkend, eröffnen sich dem Betrachter dabei zwei Konsequenzen des anstehenden Schlages: Bei der einen reicht die selbstdestruktive Kraft aus, um den Nagel bis in den Baumstamm hinein zu treiben. Andernfalls wacht Michel unter gehörigem Kopfschmerz durch den zu laschen Schlag auf. Nach überwundener Verwirrung findet er zurück zur Besinnung. Webers Zeichnungen bieten uns stets ein Stückchen Hoffnung vor der drohenden Katastrophe.

Retour instructif sur l’espionnage de la NSA

Le scandale de l’espionnage systématiquement pratiqué par la NSA ne sert qu’un seul but: maintenir la prépondérance globale des Etats-Unis

C’était le mardi 12 mars 2013: lors d’une audience auprès de la Commission spéciale du Sénat américain qui s’occupe du contrôle parlementaire des services secrets, le Sénateur Ron Wyden interroge James Clapper, directeur des services secets américains; il lui pose la question suivante: “La NSA collationne-t-elle toutes espèces de données concernant des millions voire des centaines de millions d’Américains?”. Clapper répond brièvement: “Non, Sir, pas à ma connaissance”.

Aujourd’hui, quatre bons mois plus tard, on sait que Clapper n’a pas dit la vérité. En effet, grâce aux révélations d’Edward Snowden, ancien collaborateur de la NSA (“National Security Agency”), le monde entier sait, désormais, avec quelle ampleur les Etats-Unis pompent des données partout sur le globe, dans tous les réseaux existants. Ce n’est pas vraiment une surprise: les services secrets, c’est bien connu, s’intéressent à toutes les données possibles et imaginables et cherchent à s’en approprier par tous les moyens techniques disponibles, notamment sous prétexte d’empêcher que se commettent des attentats terroristes. Ce n’est pas vraiment là que réside le problème à nos yeux: le scandale des écoutes perpétrées par la NSA nous montre surtout en quelles puissances les Etats-Unis ont confiance ou n’ont pas confiance.

L’émotion a été bien vive en République Fédérale d’Allemagne, quand on y a appris que Berlin était considérée, par les services de l’hegemon américain, comme “un partenaire de troisième classe”, qui peut et doit être espionné à un degré insoupçonné jusqu’ici! D’après le dossier publié par l’hebdomadaire “Der Spiegel”, les Etats-Unis ont pompé, chaque jour considéré comme “normal”, jusqu’à vingt millions de communications téléphoniques et jusqu’à dix millions d’échanges réalisés via l’internet, rien qu’en Allemagne. Quant aux jours dits “de pointe”, comme par exemple le 7 janvier 2013, la NSA a espionné près de soixante millions de communications téléphoniques. La fringale insatiable de Washington quand il s’agit de pomper des données, le fait que l’Allemagne soit considéré comme un “partenaire de troisième classe”, ne forment par encore la véritable surprise. Finalement, on a eu tendance à oublier, depuis la fin de la Guerre froide, que la République Fédérale d’Allemagne, tout comme le Japon d’ailleurs, est encore et toujours considérée, à Washington, comme un Etat de “seconde zone” sur le plan du droit des gens, car la clause des Nations Unies existe toujours qui pose ces deux pays comme des “ennemis”.

L’article 107 de la déclaration des Nations Unies est sans ambigüité: “Aucune disposition de la présente Charte n’affecte ou n’interdit, vis-à-vis d’un Etat qui, au cours de la seconde guerre mondiale, a été l’ennemi de l’un quelconque des signataires de la présente Charte, une action entreprise ou autorisée, comme suite de cette guerre, par les gouvernements qui ont la responsabilité de cette action”. Ou pour s’exprimer plus clairement: les vaincus de la seconde guerre mondiale se trouvent encore sous la curatelle des puissances victorieuses et s’ils ne se conduisent pas “bien”, on peut sans hésiter intervenir militairement contre eux, dans les pires des cas. On peut mettre ce principe des Nations Unies en parallèle avec une déclaration qui figure dans la présentation des activités de la NSA, déclaration mise en exergue par le “Spiegel”: “Nous avons le droit d’appréhender tous signaux en provenance de la plupart de nos partenaires étrangers qui appartiennent à la “troisième classe” – et nous le faisons”.

Comme le rapporte le quotidien britannique “The Guardian”, la RFA, en tant que “partenaire” des Etats-Unis n’est pas un cas isolé, en ce qui concerne l’espionnage. En effet, la NSA a pompé, rien qu’en mars 2013, 97 milliards d’éléments d’information dans le monde entier. Le pays le plus visé a été l’Iran (14 milliards d’informations), suivi du Pakistan (13,5 milliards) et de la Jordanie, l’un des alliés arabes les plus fidèles à Washington (12,7 milliards).

Il est significatif également de noter que seuls les alliés les plus proches des Etats-Unis, la Grande-Bretagne, le Canada, l’Australie et la Nouvelle-Zélande, font exception, ne sont pas les cibles d’attaques systématiques. Tous ces pays font partie du monde anglo-saxon, qui, sur bon nombre de plans, ressemblent aux Etats-Unis. Depuis des décennies, les Etats-Unis sont liés au Royaume-Uni par une “special relationship”. En 1946, lors d’une visite aux Etats-Unis, Winston Churchill décrivait comme “unique” la coopération entre les deux pays dans les domaines économique, politique, diplomatique et militaire. Rien n’a changé depuis lors, indépendamment du fait que les conservateurs ou les travaillistes soient au pouvoir à Londres, ou que ce soit un Démocrate ou un Républicain qui occupe la Maison Blanche.

Le désir toujours inassouvi de Washington de pomper des données étrangères est lié aussi à la prétention d’être “la Cité lumineuse sur la colline”, appelée à gouverner le monde. Pour exprimer cet état de choses en termes profanes, il s’agit tout simplement de pérenniser l’hégémonisme américain, volonté qui ne peut se concrétiser que si l’on contrôle étroitement les rivaux existants ou potentiels. C’est dans cette optique que Paul Wolfowitz a ébauché un “Defence Planning Guidance” (DPG) en 1992, dernière année du mandat du Président George Bush (le Père). Wolfowitz a été, plus tard, le principal architecte de la guerre contre l’Irak. Dans ce DPG, l’un des trois “éléments-clefs” qu’il fallait à tout prix traduire en pratique était le suivant: l’état d’unipolarité devait être maintenu et il fallait empêcher l’émergence d’une superpuissance rivale que ce soit en Europe, en Asie ou ailleurs. Car, précisait ce DPG comme aussi le projet néo-conservateur de l’an 2000, baptisé “Project for the New American Century”, l’Amérique “se trouve à la tête d’un système d’alliances qui englobe aussi les autres principales démocraties du monde”.

La stratégie mise au point en 2002 par la NSA a dès lors posé les bases de la “grande offensive d’écoute”. Le Président George W. Bush (le Fils), sous l’effet des attentats du 11 septembre 2001, constatait: “L’espionnage, tel que nous le pratiquons, constitue notre première ligne de défense contre les terroristes et contre les dangers émanant d’Etats ennemis”. Pour défendre les Etats-Unis sur le front intérieur, “On a poursuivi le développement de nouvelles méthodes pour rassembler des informations, afin de maintenir les avantages dont disposent déjà nos services de renseignement”. Tel était l’objectif. Le directeur des services secrets américains a pu élargir ses compétences et déployer dans une ampleur maximale ses activités à l’étranger.

Les recommandations stratégiques de la NSA ont été traduites dans la réalité au cours des années suivantes. Les Etats-Unis espionnent donc leurs propres citoyens et leurs soi-disant “alliés”, dans une ampleur toujours croissante: cette pratique a commencé sous Bush-le-Fils; elle s’est poursuivie sans retard sous la présidence d’Obama.

yockey.jpgThe “Judeo-African cacophony” mesmerizing the jitterbugs on the dance floors of the Thirties was part of a larger program to debauch the conservative Christian rhythms of American life.

Such at least was the argument Francis Parker Yockey made in his first published work, “The Tragedy of Youth” (1939).[1]

In this early piece, full of promise and prefiguring aspects of his later critique of American life, the 22-year-old Yockey depicted an America whose youth had begun to keep step with the intonations and inflections of its Jewish bandmasters.

Besides the folly of their un-European cavorting, Americans, he thought, were acting out the worldview of an alien-minded minority in control of the country’s media and entertainment.

Drinking, smoking, and other bad habits glamorized by Hollywood became, in this spirit, marks of sophistication; sports were fetishized; public opinion was shaped and reshaped to legitimate machinations of every sort.

More seriously, God was “replaced by lust, the priest by the psychoanalyst, and the hero and heroine by the promiscuous lounge-lizard and the glittering harlot.”[2]

For the more educated, there were books and magazines promoting class war, racial equality, and anti-European (especially anti-German) hatred – aimed at destroying “whatever exclusiveness, national feeling, or racial instinct” still part of the American people.[3]

Institutionalizing these subversions, Roosevelt’s New Deal, the granddaddy of the present anti-white system, took on debts and obligations favoring the Left forces – themselves puppets of the international financiers and bankers responsible for the deception and dissimulation entrancing the jitterbugs.

Against this backdrop of cultural distortion, usurious state policy, and agitations favoring causes alien to American affairs, the country’s youth, Yockey claimed, was being conditioned to fight as conscripts in liberal, Jewish, and Communist causes inimical to their national interest.

The Catholic-educated prodigy of German-Irish descent — already speaking to public meetings of the German-American Bund (40 percent of whose members were Irish), Pelley’s Silver Shirts, and Father Coughlin’s “clerico-fascists” – had an understanding of the New Deal State and its innovative forms of corporate-financial-cultural control –that was virtually unique among American anti-liberals, an understanding inspired by the Conservative Revolution of Oswald Spengler, Carl Schmitt, and Karl Haushofer.

Since the late Forties, Yockey’s opus has animated much of Europe’s vanguard and been vindicated, in the main, by subsequent events. He nevertheless remains a prophet without honor in his native land. 

The True America

A certain ambiguity runs through Yockey’s understanding of America. On the one hand, he saw it as a colonial offshoot of European civilization and thus an organic facet of its High Culture.

On the other, he knew that from the beginning there were problems with the “new nation” — problems that disposed it not just to alien influences, but to demonic entreprises endemic to the capitalism that came with its Protestant revolt against Gothic Europe.

The line between inner disposition and outer subversion is accordingly blurred in Yockey – as it was within the larger metahistorical forces affecting the “country” itself.

Basic to Yockey’s understanding of America was his belief that it was, at root, an integral and organic part of Europe.

Whenever he spoke of “the true America,” as opposed to the America that had been taken over by the “culture distorters” and become “the enemy of Europe,” it was the America that had originated as a European colony — the America whose “culture” was a branch of Europe’s High Culture — the America whose people still bore traces of the noble, heroic, and Gothic character of their ancestors.

“All colonials,” Yockey felt, “have a certain plane of their being which is susceptible to the centripetal attraction of the mother-soil.”[4] For they share a common history with “the parent-organism” – no matter how much the distorters might insist otherwise.

The true American – i.e., the American whose highest loyalty was to his “mother soil and father culture” – thus instinctively isolated himself from all efforts to betray Europe: like French Canadians and South African Boers who refused to be conscripted by Washington in the Jews’ war against the Third Reich.[5]

A child of European, especially German, culture, Yockey alone among American anti-liberals saw that America’s origin had tied its destiny to that of Europe, and that no matter how many cities the colony built, no matter how many millions of automobiles it turned out every season — no matter, even, how successful it was in reducing Europe to rubble and occupying it — no matter, it (the colony) would never, not in a thousand years, surpass the achievement and destiny of its mother soil and father culture.

To even think it was philosophically absurd.

The country that grew from a small, 17th-century European settlement on the Eastern seaboard faced “a vast hinterland populated with hostile savages and untouched with any form of civilization.”[6]

This would be the start of America’s abnormal development, for its frontier represented a confrontation with nature, very unlike the European frontier, which formed a distinct boundary between rival power-units with contending cultural or religious styles and was thus a boundary that of necessity enhanced the state-idea among Europeans — most brilliantly so in Hohenzollern Prussia.[7]

America’s European settlers – especially its hardy Scots-Irish pioneers, who conquered its frontier through “personal will” – would do so with the hardiness and fearlessness once characteristic of the European race, in its urge for great distance and conquest – but, alas, without the formative influence of a regnant state.

(No Celt, anyway, could possibly bear the state, for its alien heel has been kept on his neck for all its history — except, of course, for those English Celts, whose Germanic language and ways made them so different).[8]

But if the absence of a regnant state enhanced the Americans’ admirable sense of “self-reliance, resourcefulness, bravery, and independence,” it also undermined the European idea of the state as the superpersonal expression of the nation’s will.[9]

America and Europe’s High Culture

Revilo Oliver, whose materialism and rationalism exemplified Yockey’s notion of 19th-century thought, claimed his premises were Spengler’s conclusions.[10] Oliver didn’t quite understand, though, that Yockey wasn’t an orthodox Spenglerian — but rather a radical revisionist intent on turning Spenglerian pessimism into a fresh assertion of ascendent European life.[11]

Like his mentor (Spengler), Yockey saw civilizations as spiritual organisms, with distinct ages or cycles attuned to the growth (the possibility) of the inner idea (the “soul”) inherent in their culture. The “organism,” as such, takes the human material at its disposal and “impresses it into its service.”

Unlike Spengler, Yockey thought there was still a good deal of life left in Western culture and thus that it was vital the culture remain true to itself.

But here America’s problem began. While the “true America” was an offshoot of Europe’s High Culture, the country (first as colony, then as sovereign state) lacked an indigenous culture class and a significant nativist articulation, which, as a colony, left it with shallow roots in its mother soil. America especially lacked an inner organic sense of mission or necessity. Without this sense, it had only a creedal identity based on a crusading Prostestanism opened to all the world and ordered solely for the sake of its predetaory capitalism.

The 19th-century ideas of rationalism and materialism, shorn of all faith and instinct, would thus dominate Americans in ways they never dominated Europeans (at least not until 1945). In dismissing all non-utilitarian and non-economic considerations, such rationalist-materialist ideas left Americans increasingly indifferent to Europe’s destiny, and ultimately defenseless before the ethnocidal dangers intrinsic to their purely monetary (i.e., cultureless and thus amoral) enterprise.

This was especially the case once liberal modernity roared onto the scene (1861–65 was the transitional period), turning rationalism and materialism into the unmitigated rule of money and commerce. Money, Yockey held, was the enemy of authority, being private, individualistic, and, ultimately, irresponsible.[12]

Here again, America, product of England’s predatory Whig Oligarchy, differed from Continental Europe. For the High Culture relegates the productive and reproductive aspects of life (the economic aspects, however vital they may be to survival) — to the lowest order of existence.[13]

The American, as such, was preeminently a “capitalist” — motivated by the will to accumulate, prosper, and thus demonstrate his individual salvation. As Spengler put it, he was a Calvinist rather than a Pietist, a Viking rather than a knight, and a pirate whose instinct favored personal gain and not the knight’s devotion to Duty and Destiny.[14]

There was, as a consequence, no aristocratic and priestly estates in America to serve as the culture’s guardian, only economic forces oriented to the lower animal aspects of existence.

In the New World, the Faustian will to power of Europe’s High Culture became a soulless mechanization, whose technical fixation on immediate sensate phenomena left it oblivious to higher realities.

Their enchantment with technics and capitalist ethic of quantification would eventually lead these colonials to see Europeans as inferior to themselves — especially once their flying fortresses incinerated much of the Continent’s millennial heritage.

The hard-headed apostles of science and rationality, economically fixated on comfort and pleasure (“the pursuit of happiness”) have, it follows, been more inclined to feminine principles than to virile exploits or metaphysical perspectives.

The abstract ideological principles of the colonies’ Masonic, Deist, and Unitarian elites, who based their new nation on a scrap of paper (the Constitution), ostensively founded the nation on “the rule of reason, humanity, justice and all the rest,” but in actuality their novel enterprise was little more than a caricature of the European “nation-idea,” dedicated to legitimating the great money-making possibilities inherent in the country’s speculative development.

Without a dynastic, cultural, or historical identity, the “new nation” was bereft of true politics, knowing only the business of partisan haggling.[15]

“The empty, smiling face, the uniform mind, the senseless chasing after noise, movement, and sensation, the obsession with money, the rejection of all spiritual standards of attainment” –  this was the condition of Yockey’s jitterbugs, who hadn’t a clue as to what kind of world was being designed for them.[16]

Politically and culturally, such tendencies made America an enterprise without grand possibility, evident in the fact that the American people never achieved a true sense of nationhood or statehood — that the country lacked both a ruling class and a culture stratum — and that, from the beginning, spiritual and transcendent principles were subordinated to materialist ones – thereby preparing the way for the money-changers, whose alien forms of parasitism would facilitate their rapid ascension into the inner circles of America’s plutocratic money elites.

America’s outremer “primitiveness” was especially evident in the condition of the Negro, who constituted a sort of paradigm for the country as a whole.

Incapable of tragedy, pleasure-seeking, and child-like, the Negro, like the culturally-distorted American, exemplified “natural man” — incapable of abstraction, without a virile sense of history or honor, with no art and no will to destiny, fixated almost solely on happiness, status, and sensate vocations. This feminine-matriarchal people devoted to routine and technicization could not, then, but orient to the lowest common denominator.

The Culture of Distortion

Given their shallow culture and the dismissal of the tradition to which they were heirs, Americans were particularly vulnerable to the corrosions of 19th-century rationalism and materialism. Relatedly, they were an easy mark for “culture aliens” — for a world governed by money was a world indifferent to a man’s qualities.[17]

Foremost among the culture-aliens were the Jews: product of Spengler’s “Magian” culture, instinctually hostile to the European spirit, and bent on revenge.

In their counting houses, Americans would invariably overlook the Jews’ otherness, though they were of a different “Culture-Nation-Race.” Even before the War of Independence, they treated Jews as Europeans – Jews who had been shunned, ghettoized, and seen by most Europeans as an evil to be avoided.[18]

In traditionless, rationalized, money-worshipping America, the Jew, as culture and nature dictated, would effortlessly spread their “culture-pathology.”

Notions of “culture-parasitism” and “culture-retardation,” integral to Yockey’s analytical perspective, are familiar forms of cultural pathology and largely self-explanatory. The notion of “culture-distortion,” though roughly analogous to Spengler’s “pseudomorphorsis,” is entirely Yockey’s and plays a leading role in his understanding of America’s 20th-century experience in anti-Europeanism.

“Culture-distortion,” he explains, “is the condition in which outer life-forms [divert] the culture from its true life-path.”[19] The culture-distorter thus assumed control of the host organism by introducing alien elements into it that squandered its energies on things unrelated or opposed to its development. Culture-distortion would consequently end up mutilating the culture-organism, turning it away from its growth, its possibility, its destiny.

Beginning in the 1880s, the Jews (these inassimilable aliens rejected by Europe’s High Culture) began their invasion of America. By 1905, they were already a power, evident in fact that the United States, for the first time in its history, severed diplomatic relations with Russia on account of the “anti-Jewish pogroms” that had followed the Russo-Japanese War.

Through its financial acumen and early control of media (the press, movies, radio), and in alliance with the native forces of decadence and degeneration, Jewish power in the New World grew at an unprecedented rate.

In a country where “mass-thinking, mass-ideals, and mass-living prevails,” Jewish propaganda (in the form of advertising, fashion, and a hundred other things) effortlessly reshaped the American consciousness, propelling the jitterbugs onto the dance floor of their world-conquering schemes. Stories of German sadism or Orson Welles’ Mars invasion were peddled with similar success, just as “the ethical syphilis of Hollywood and the spiritual leprosy of New York” infiltrated the larger cultural body.

In 1933, the year of the European Revolution, the Jews acquired outright political control of the United States — something that a thousand years of effort had failed to achieve in Europe.

From this point forward, “the formation of the Jewish-American Symbiosis begins.”[20]

Swarming into Washington, Jews and their “sub-American” contractors started dissimulating the Jewish world view and “bringing under control every factor of public expression.”[21]

All who resisted were to be purged or ostracized.

Then, as the country’s racial instincts were worn down by the distorters, America (in accord with the policies of its liberal state and in the programming of its Culture Industry) assumed “a Jewish countenance” in its relations both with the rest of the world and with itself.[22]

For Yockey, Franklin Roosevelt, “the monster . . . who made of his life a study in infamy,” was a creature of the Jews, just as his New Deal was bent on Judaifying American government and society, promoting, as it did, principles of tolerance and universal brotherhood, which were further developed by Rockerfeler-funded social-engineers intent on morally disarming the American people.

In this, the prescient Yockey might be criticized for confusing Jewish supremacy with the increasing Judaification of American society (which Matthew Arnold had warned of in the 1860s), for Jewish power in America was arguably not consolidated until the late 1960s (even if its secular low-church market, in making money the ultimate standard, had already Judaicized American life and sentiments).[23]

That Roosevelt, in October 1937, began to maneuver the United States into the coming world war and that this war would be a war of annihilation — i.e., the sort of war fought between racially and culturally alien, rather then related peoples sharing the same civilization — was further evidence, in Yockey’s eyes, of Jewish hegemony and the Jews’ genocidal hatred of Europe.

Despite a certain exaggeration of Jewish power in this period, Yockey was nearly alone in seeing that the United States had become an anti-European power bound to the Jews’ vengeful compulsion to suppress Europe’s destiny.

Unlike other American anti-liberals, anti-Semitism for him evolved, rapidly and logically, into an anti-Americanism.

The Enemy of Europe 

As long as America had been ruled by men of European Christian stock, it remained “a European colony.”[24] But the America “distorted by the Revolution of 1933″ (a revolution carried out by the allegedly Jewish-dominated New Deal), was now lost to Europe.

America’s Judified anti-Europeanism was especially evident in the Second World War and in its subsequent occupation of the Continent.

For if the United States had possessed a proper ruling class, a tradition, and a regalian state, it would have stayed out of the Second World War, which became a defeat not just for Germany, but for all Europe — and thus, ultimately, a defeat for the true America.

Under its new Jewish-American regime, Washington after 1933 was instrumental in preparing the way for another European civil war – a war it would wage as if the enemy (their European kinsmen) weren’t human.[25]

Instead of being the great moral crusade against the absolute evil of fascism, the war in actuality represented a giant step toward the Judeo-plutocratic inauguration of a New World Order, based on American open markets and American economic practices.

To this end, American bombers (supported by their British vassals) reduced every German city to a heap of rubble, intentionally targeting heavily populated working-class residences — that is, “homes and families”; cities in France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, and Eastern Europe were also bombed, adding further hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties to US “kills”; American fighter-pilots similarly sought out civilians to machine-gun and terrorize; vast stores of equipment and armaments, often denied to American troops, were supplied to Soviet Russia to defend the Communist state and encourage its penetration into the heart of Europe; and throughout this most barbaric and punitive war in the white man’s history, the Washington regime talked incessantly of the enemy’s “war crimes” and its “inhumanity.”[26]

Yockey blamed America’s dishonorable conduct in the war on the culture-distorters, whose “motivation derived from the deep and total organic irreconcilability between a High Culture and a parasitic organism” (though I suspect that the country’s latter-day Puritans, given their tendency to dehumanize the enemy, ought also to share a large part of the responsibility).[27]

Even after the guns were silenced, America’s “ghastly dishonor” continued.

With the Red Army occupying Eastern Europe and the US Army Western Europe, the looting, raping, pillaging — and ethnic cleansing — began.

The Soviets plundered everything not bolted down; the greatest mass rape in Western history occurred in what became “East Germany”; and 16 million East-European Germans were forced to abandon lands and homes they had inhabited for centuries, 2 million of whom (mainly the very old and the very young) perished in the process.

With greater discrimination, the Americans raided German patent offices, stealing their superior technology; they rounded up their rocket scientists, confiscated the libraries they hadn’t burned, and made off with priceless art works. German women, most on the verge of starvation, were not subject to mass rape (except by black American and French African troops), but their favors could be had for a half-dozen eggs, some cigarettes, or a few chocolate bars.

If this weren’t enough, the culture-distorters (whose “fury had been heightened by the European Revolution of 1933″)[28], along with their American accomplices (especially the budding military-industrial complex), introduced large-scale starvation, abused POWs (several million of whom died as a consequence), hunted down anyone who failed to bow to the new conquerors, and imposed laws with ex post facto application.[29]

Adding insult to injury, the “American world-clown and the sadistic Jew” then endeavored to “re-educate” Europeans in the arts of anti-fascism, mammon-worship, and democracy (i.e., “the corruptibility of the government by private wealth”).

The war for Yockey represented a categorical defeat for the “true America” — and a total victory for the Jews over Western Civilization.

Since 1945, the two sides of the Atlantic have ceased to share the same inner experience of feeling, for it was essentially a war against Europe. European Americans who supported it, Yockey contended, were traitors — inner enemies of their own culture.[30]

Then, after being reduced to “a beggar colony of America,” Europe’s pre-1945 elites were replaced by “Michel elements” (liberal philistines embodying “the sum of European weaknesses”), who could be trusted to do the Jews’ bidding.

In the name of democracy, press rights and free speech were henceforth abrogated; political parties were required to obtain licenses; any expression of nationalism was criminalized, just as all anti-liberal formations critical of the occupiers’ regime were driven to the political fringe.

America-Jewry in this way sought to sever Europe’s roots, suppress her will to power, and deprive her of a sense of destiny.

In no meaningful political sense did Europe, in fact, continue to exist after 1945, thanks almost entirely to this monstrous entity with the Jewish head and the American body.[31]

America-Jewry’s anti-European vengeance was especially evident in comparison to its generous treatment of defeated Japan.

Indeed, the entire nonwhite world was soon made to know that the United States had conquered Europe and that the colored outer-revolt, encouraged by the distorters, was ready, at last, to triumph over its former white masters.

More than Soviet Communism, Yockey argued that Jewish-controlled America was the “enemy of Europe.”[32]

And this made America an enemy of “true America,” for the Jewish idea of America — as a land of immigrants, creedal propositions, and universal brotherhood — stripped it of any “national-spiritual significance” it may have once had, doing so, ultimately, for “the enslavement of the world by big business.”[33]

Every European-American loyal to his ancestral homeland — loyal to his own inmost being – was, Yockey concluded, duty bound to be disloyal to what America had become (even as he struggled to return it to Europe).

The American Vabanquespieler 

Yockey believed the 19th-century Age of Materialism and Rationalism, which had shaped America’s cultureless civilization and opened the way to the culture-distorters, came to an end with the First World War (1918), as a new age struggled to succeed it – a new age that would be animated by the same primordial sources that had brought about the European Revolution of 1933.

If not for America-Jewry’s Old Testament war on Europe, German-Prussian Ethical Socialism (in rejection of liberalism’s individualistic Reign of Quantity) would have inaugurated a New Age of Authority, Discipline, and Faith, bringing the whole world under Europe’s influence. Instead, the very opposite occurred.[34]

But even though the America of the culture-distorters had emerged victorious from the war, it changed not in the least the fact that America (this apotheosis of the 19th-century rationalism and materialism born of liberalism) still represented the past — and the past, Yockey held, could never defeat the future latent in Europe’s High Culture.

The barbarian victory of America’s 19th-century capitalism over the Germans’ Ethical Socialism had, indeed, already spread chaos and disorder throughout Western Civilization, heightening the imperative for a revolutionary transformation.[35]

All Yockey’s written works (several of which are works of genius) — all his tireless efforts to rally the defeated and demoralized anti-liberal vanguard for the coming struggle against America-Jewry — his alliance with and clandestine service to Slavic Communism in its Cold War against America’s Jewified liberalism — everything about this extraordinary man whose entire existence was devoted to the realization of Europe’s destiny makes him, in my mind, an exemplar of what Ernst Jünger called the Vabanquespieler. 

“A player of dangerous games,” “an adventurer willing to stake all on the throw of the dice,” a hero forged in storms of steel, a nature with the grandeur of a medieval knight[36] — Yockey the Vabanquespieler stood against the entire postwar era, heralding a coming global war between Europe and anti-Europe — between the white men of the North and America’s Jewish culture-distorters.

After a half year in Ireland’s enchanted west (1948), where he wrote his magnum opus, Yockey the Vabanquespieler set out to “build a new pan-European fascist superpower,” by rallying the scattered remnants of Europe’s defeated elites to a new assertion of Europe’s destiny — somewhat in the way 7th and 8th-century Irish monks had tried to keep the lights of the old civilization from going out on the mainland.[37]

Rejecting the “petty stateism” of the interwar movements and accounting for their mistakes, Yockey in 1949 founded the European Liberation Front, whose revolutionary-nationalist principles — particularly in its anti-Americanism and pro-Sovietism — were rejected by England’s pro-American Union Movement; then by Continental Hitler-worshippers, who preferred a strictly racialist to a European-culturalist orientation; and, finally, by American anti-liberals (like Revilo Oliver) rooted in 19th-century rationalism and materialism.

Yockey’s European Liberation Front nevertheless dissimulated ideas, especially relevant to our age of American decline, that have since found their way into the most advanced sections of Europe’s anti-liberal resistance: evident in Jean Thiriart’s Euronationalism, in the pan-Europeanism and anti-Americanism of Alain de Benoist’s Nouvelle Droite, in Robert Steuckers’ Euro-Synergies, and in numerous national-revolutionary tendencies beginning with Yockey, René Binet, Saint-Loup, and others in the late 1940s.[38]

Only in America, lacking an indigenous anti-liberal tradition and an organic bond to Europe’s living tradition, are his never-more-pertinent ideas still ignored.[39]

For the Vabanquespieler, the creation of a new European order (in the form of a Continental imperium stretching “from Galway to the Urals”) would entail a great, heroic undertaking, as the white men of the North, sworn to a transcendent idea, rallied to throw off an exhausted, putrefied, but nearly all-powerful Jewish-American system — citadel of world liberalism and hence the principal source of evil in the 20th and 21st centuries (more so even than England’s “evil empire” of the 18th and 19th centuries).

The Last Men of America’s consumer paradise may therefore think the distorters have tamed the forces of history and quieted the demands of destiny, but the American apostate knew better. He also knew that Americans could do better.

The beating of the [American] people into a thing of mass-ideals, mass-thinking, mass-conduct, mass-living, was a distortion . . . of the American’s [European] soul. Europe and America constituted a single spiritual unit whose life-aim was to actualize their common destiny.[40]

The coming Age of Absolute Politics, he prophesied, would again “summon forth the latent heroism of the American people.”

Inspired thus, the Vabanquespieler stood with valor against the Jew-run, liberal-capitalist, anti-European Mammon System that had become America.

In anticipating the next cycle of Western Destiny, Yockey’s life work bequeaths to New World Europeans a legacy affirming that “the old Gothic religious idea” is still latent in them and that the 21st century will be an age of European peace and order, if they are prepared to fight for it.

The “American ideology” may therefore have no future, but “the soul of the American people,” born of Europe, will be reborn with Europe’s assumption.[41]

Albert II et la fin de la haute finance belge

Nous sommes en présence d’un paradoxe: sous le règne d’Albert II, le vieil établissement financier belge s’est effondré, alors que tous les souverains de la famille des Saxe-Cobourg en Belgique avaient été liés à ces cercles et avaient toujours entretenu de bons rapports avec eux!

Lors d’une émission de la VRT, “Ter Zake”, diffusée le jour où Albert II avait annoncé son intention d’abdiquer, Pierre-Alain de Smedt était dans le studio. Ce P.-A. de Smedt est parfaitement bilingue mais ses origines sont francophones et il fut le président de le FEB (“Fédération des Entreprises de Belgique”). Les images en disaient long. De Smedt avait la gorge serrée quand il évoquait le départ d’Albert II; il se remémorait des souvenirs d’antan, lorsque le chef de l’Etat n’était encore que le Prince Albert et participait à toutes sortes de missions économiques et commerciales.

Dans les années 70 et 80, le Prince Albert a noué d’excellents contacts avec le monde des entreprises. Le monde des affaires a été très longtemps un apanage francophone en Belgique. La famille régnante des Saxe-Cobourg était en prise directe avec la haute finance belge, avec Etienne Davignon, Maurice Lippens, la famille Solvay-Janssen-Boël, la famille Delhaize et toute une série de personnalités autour de la “Société Générale”. C’était eux qui portaient l’économie belge à bout de bras.

Les encouragements de la Cour au bon fonctionnemen de la haute finance sont connus. L’événement qui parle le plus à nos imaginations fut la reprise ratée de la “Société Générale” par les Néerlandais d’ABN Amro en 1997. L’établissement économique francophone a tout fait pour bloquer cette reprise, si bien que la “Société Générale” est tombée entre les mains du groupe Fortis de Maurice Lippens. On raconte que c’est Albert II lui-même qui aurait assuré les préparatifs de la reprise par Fortis et aurait téléphoné directement à plusieurs personnes pour empêcher tout contrôle par ABN Amro. Une fois l’affaire conclue, Maurice Lippens a été promu comte. C’est une rareté, dans un tel contexte, mais c’est à coup sûr une récompense pour services rendus.

En 2001, Albert II a soutenu l’initiative visant à sauver une partie des actions de la Sabena et à créer la compagnie aérienne SN Brussels Airlines. On a ainsi rassemblé 180 millions d’euros provenant des banques mais aussi de Solvay, d’Umicore, de l’UCB et de Suez-Tractebel. Ce coup fut vraiment la dernière convulsion de l’ancien régime belge. Depuis lors, le vieil établissement tenu en ultime instance par la haute finance s’est décomposé. En 2005, il a encore une dernière fois tenté de rouler les mécaniques, lorsque Herman de Bode, figure de proue du consultant McKinsey et membre de la boîte-à-penser “De Warande”, plaida pour une Flandre indépendante. Georges Jacobs de l’UCB (“Union Chimique Belge”), dinosaure de l’établissement financier belge, a réagi avec colère. Herman de Bode avait dû faire marche arrière.

Trois ans plus tard, avec l’effondrement de Fortis, la haute finance a reçu le coup de grâce. Pas seulement parce que bon nombre d’actionnaires ont perdu des millions au cours des tribulations de cette banque devenue mégalomane. La fin de Fortis signifiait aussi la fin de l’établissement rassemblé autour du duo Lippens-Davignon. Le réseau de la vieille aristocratie financière, où l’on maintenait tous les Flamands dehors parce qu’on les craignait, s’est désagrégé.

Ce qu’il en reste, ce sont des individus ou de petits groupes, des personnalités fortes de leur capital, certes, mais il n’y a plus, dans le lot, des figures capables de déterminer l’avenir économique de la Belgique. Ces personnalités viennent encore serrer quelques paluches au Palais mais leur toute-puissance a vécu. Le réseau autour de la famille Solvay a certes encore un rôle à jouer à Bruxelles et possède un lien qui l’unit encore à la Wallonie mais, quand on compare cette situation à celle du passé, la gloire s’est bel et bien envolée. Le financier wallon Albert Frère est désormais, depuis quelques années déjà, un investisseur français pur jus, avec ses deux bras droits, Ian Galienne (son beau-fils) et Gérard Lamarche.

Les liens qui liaient jadis ces milieux avec les riches cercles flamands des affaires sont plus ténus aujourd’hui qu’hier. Il existait une passerelle entre ce monde établi et la famille des armateurs flamands (mais francophones), les Saverys, ainsi qu’avec Luc Bertrand du groupe Ackermans & Van Haaren. Or ces derniers ont émis à plusieurs reprises, au cours des mois qui viennent de s’écouler, des avis sur les dysfonctionnements patents de la Belgique. Nicolas Saverys a déclaré, par exemple, qu’il quitterait la Belgique si le PS restait au pouvoir. Luc Bertrand évoquait un “gouvernement marxiste”. Il y a peu de temps, des contacts discrets existaient entre les principaux entrepreneurs flamands et la haute finance francophone: ils avaient pour but de ne pas émettre trop de critiques pour éviter toute déstabilisation supplémentaire de la Belgique. Aujourd’hui chacun fait à sa guise. Les grands entrepreneurs flamands, qui déclarent publiquement qu’ils en ont marre de la Belgique, ne sont plus rappelés à l’ordre.

Au bout des vingt ans de règne d’Albert II, le bilan de la haute finance belge s’avère très négatif. Au cours de ces dernières années, voire de ces dernières décennies, on a dû constater plus d’échecs que de bons résultats: la gestion désastreuse du Congo (via l’Union Minière), le déclin de la “Société Générale” en 1988 et, l’effondrement, vingt ans plus tard, de Fortis, etc. L’histoire retiendra les mésaventures d’une bande de faillis, de perdants, de “losers”.

The history of the past century is a tale of subversion, retreat, and collapse. Everything continuously shrinks. Subversion at the center was critical to the process from the start, but externally it was observable in the swift crumbling of white geographical power from the periphery inward. 

First came the fierce ideological and political attacks upon “colonialism,” and the ensuing ignominious retreat from empire. This occurred with tremendous speed, an Insider movement involving elite subversion from within and revolutionary subversion from without.

Whites in every imperial capital and every colony from India to southern Africa, from Portugal to French Algeria who fought this juggernaut had the correct political instinct. It does not matter whether colonialism is deemed good or bad, wise or unwise, just or unjust. Racially, anti-colonialism was one phase in a crusade of extermination. Its proponents at home knew it, and its foes, the healthiest members of our race, instinctively sensed it as well.

The next phase was the takeover of Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), South West Africa (Namibia), and South Africa. The destruction of these First World nations—one of which had nuclear weapons—was a prelude to the destruction of all white homelands now in progress. Watching the takeover of South Africa was like watching a slow motion train wreck. (“Slow motion” to the observer; historically it occurred in the blink of an eye.)

Exactly the same process is now unfolding in the last bastions, the white homelands themselves. As in South Africa, the process is impossible not to see. The lack of any meaningful, revolutionary response to yet another massive Third World immigration bill in the US is eloquent proof of the fanaticism, extremism, and hegemony of the anti-white power structure.

Riccardo Orizio’s Lost White Tribes provides a glimpse into the near-future of whites everywhere if revolutionary action is not taken.

Orizio, an Italian Catholic ex-foreign correspondent for the Italian daily newspapers Corriere della Sera and La Repubblica, and for CNN, is the proprietor with his Anglican English wife, pediatrician Pia-Sophie Wool, of an exclusive retreat in Kenya offering safaris to the global rich. As one of their ads put it, “the thrill of a real African adventure lived in harmony with the Masai warriors coupled with high standards of style and comfort. The tents are furnished with colonial antiques, Persian carpets and African art. The atmosphere at the camp is informal but elegant.” Orizio and Wool (who “will work with the Maasai communities on different health projects”) described themselves as “a cosmopolitan, multilingual European couple, a writer and a doctor.”

Orizio, obviously, is a member of the Establishment, not a white nationalist. On his website [3] he prominently displays Polish Communist journalist and secret police informant Ryszard Kapuscinski’s endorsement of Lost White Tribes: “A humanistic book, revolving around tales of dying places and dying communities, around people who live surrounded by old furniture, old verandah, old books . . . The lost white tribes are individuals living a chapter of history that for the rest of the mankind is forever closed. Which is why, despite Riccardo Orizio’s sympathy with these obscure heroes, his is nevertheless an anti-colonial book.”

Lost White Tribes was first published in London in 2000. Dutch, Italian, American and Turkish editions followed. Whereas the subtitle of the English edition was “Journeys Among the Forgotten,” New York’s The Free Press gloatingly subtitled its 2001 American edition “The End of Privilege and the Last Colonials.”

The Dutch Burghers of Ceylon

At a small hotel in Sri Lanka (Ceylon), author Orizio is served by a young white waiter. “He’s a Sri Lankan like me,” Orizio’s dark Sinhalese companion states matter-of-factly. “Hear how he speaks the language? He’s only a Dutch Burgher . . . Strange people. Dutch, or something of the sort. Maybe Portuguese. Some of them live in crumbling old houses. Nothing to cook with, roof falling in, but that’s where they like to live. As if this were still the 18th century. Perhaps, though they’re trash, they think they’re better than we are.”

With this grim sketch, proving once again that no matter how much we surrender or have taken from us we’ll always be hated for who we are, Orizio begins his slight but revealing account of six obscure, geographically dispersed “lost white tribes”: the Dutch Burghers of Ceylon, the German slaves of Jamaica, the Confederates of Brazil, the Poles of Haiti, the Basters (or Bastards) of Reheboth, Namibia (South West Africa), and the Blancs Matignon of Guadeloupe, a Leeward Island in the Caribbean Ocean. The people he describes are the remnants—some white, but many hybrid descendants of whites—who stayed behind when colonialism beat a shamefaced retreat before the rising tide of color against white world-supremacy.

The Dutch Burghers of Ceylon are the descendants of the Europeans who first arrived with the Dutch East India Company in the 1600s. They are mostly Dutch, but with an admixture of Portuguese, English, and other European nationalities whose members participated in the settlement and building of colonial Ceylon over the centuries.

In former times, the Dutch Burgher elite of Ceylon regarded the South African Boers, also of Dutch descent, as blood brothers. Contact between the two groups occurred after the English brought Boer POWs to Ceylon during the Boer War. Many Boer POWs married Dutch Burgher women. Burghers also served as combatants in that war, but on the English side because they were British subjects. (Ceylon was a British crown colony from 1798 to 1948.)

In recent years—as is true of all the groups described in the book—there has been a serious breakdown of racial barriers and greatly accelerated admixture between surviving Europeans and dark-skinned natives. For example, Michael Ondaatje, the author of the novel upon which the Academy Award-winning movie The English Patient was based, was born into the Dutch Burgher community, though his racial heritage is predominantly Tamil rather than European according Orizio’s interviewees. His surname “Ondaatje,” though, came from his Dutch ancestors.

In poignant counterpoint to the condescension and contempt displayed toward the impoverished white waiter by the black-skinned Sinhalese at the hotel, an elderly Dutch Burgher woman told Orizio, “We Burghers have become strangers in our own land. We have given so much, created so much. And now that I’m old, it sometimes happens at a reception that someone will ask me where I come from and how long have I lived in their beautiful country. They take me for a tourist, or a missionary. I tell them that my ancestors have probably been here longer than theirs. But the old times are gone forever. My parents and their friends would go horse-racing, then on to dinner, then dance until dawn. Then they would jump in their cars and dash down to the beach for a swim . . .”

The Germans of Jamaica

These people are the descendants of German indentured servants lured to the Caribbean island in the 1830s, probably under false pretenses. In return for working as virtual slaves on plantations for an agreed-upon number of years the newcomers were promised their freedom and a small plot of land.

After the completion of their service, however, they were given poor, agriculturally worthless land in the remote interior of the island around SeafordTown. There they have lived in poverty and isolation for 170 years. Orizio says there are now about 50 real Germans left, while the rest are hybrids.

One interviewee, Tony Wedemeyer, known as the “White Rastafarian,” had light skin and eyes and blond hair worn in dreadlocks; his brother was a Negro. Wedemeyer had had a series of blonde German lovers, young girls who traveled to Jamaica specifically to mate with black Rastafarians.

He told the author: “For centuries, Jamaicans have been a mixture of white, black, Chinese, Arab. Yet class distinctions still exist, and how! All based on the colour of your skin. If you’re Indian or Chinese, your class is defined automatically. We have seventeen different definitions for seventeen different shades of skin, from white white to black black. Each shade has its own name: Quadroon, Quintroon, Octoroon, etc. And the destiny of each is pre-determined.”

The Confederados of Brazil

The Brazilian Confederates [6] are the descendants of southern veterans of the Civil War who migrated to Brazil between 1865 and 1885 to establish new plantations. (The Sons of Confederate Veterans established a Brazilian auxiliary, SCV Camp 1653, “Os Confederados” in 1994.) Some 10,000-20,000 emigrated, but many eventually returned to the US. Those who remained settled throughout Brazil, but the most stable group exists in and around Santa Barbara d’Oeste, in the country’s interior. There, descendants from all over the nation still gather at the Confederate cemetery (the tombstones are engraved in English) for an annual celebration.

Lost White Tribes features sixteen exceptionally clear color photographs taken by Orizio and Wool (who accompanied her husband on several of his journeys). Four of the photos are of Brazilian Confederates. One depicts a young Confederate girl with dark hair, skin, and eyes and non-white facial features, highlighting the intermarriage that has occurred. In vivid contrast, another photo shows a small Confederate lad wearing a gray uniform with a yellow sash and small gray cap. The boy is as handsomely Nordic in coloration and features as any of his unspoiled white American or European contemporaries. A third photo depicts a young Nordic Confederate couple in striking period costume.

The Basters of Namibia

Of all the groups described by Orizio, the Basters (or Bastards) of South West Africa (Namibia), a wholly hybrid people, come across as the most likable. They are a cross between Dutch Boers and Hottentots (Khoikhoi), and live scattered across the vast, arid central plateau of South West Africa. Their unofficial capital is Reheboth, and they number between 30,000 and 45,000.

The Basters are descended from unions between Dutch pioneers and Hottentot or Nama women, resulting in a genetic and cultural mix that exists nowhere else in Africa. For three centuries they have been an ethnic entity in the truest sense, a tribe that came into being as a result of historical accident but has since developed a sturdy self-sufficiency and an identity distinct, both psychologically and genetically, from the peoples who founded it.

To English eyes, the Boers were guilty of two unforgivable sins: they used slaves as labourers on their farms, and they procreated children with these same slaves, Hottentot and Bushmen who expressed themselves in a language of clicks and snapping noises.

German physician and anthropologist Eugen Fischer, a prominent scientist in the Third Reich, wrote a famous early account of the Basters, unmentioned by Orizio, Die Rehobother Bastards und das Bastardierungsproblem beim Menschen (1913) (The Rehoboth Bastards and the Problem of Miscegenation Among Humans), a field study of interbreeding between two very different human races in a small population of 3,000 individuals whose family histories were known. Fischer concluded that interbreeding did not result in a new, intermediate race that was reproductively stable, but followed Mendelian laws according to which each generation would produce throw-backs to the original parent races as well as individuals of intermediate type.

The Basters, many of whom have Dutch or German names, are devout Calvinists. Their unofficial leader is designated “the Kaptein.” The charismatic Hans Diergaardt was the Kaptein interviewed by Orizio, though he died in 1999.

In the Baster aristocracy the most highly regarded and wealthiest families are those who “have the whitest skin and the surnames of the original Trekkers who came from the Cape in their ox-drawn wagons.” The Baster Great Trek from Cape Province across all of South West Africa as far north as Angola occurred in 1866–1870. The Basters overcame many hardships and hazards along the way.

Fierce anti-Communists, the Basters were bitterly opposed to the Namibian government controlled by the Negro Ovambo of SWAPO. In 1991, SWAPO confiscated the Baster farmlands; its long-range goal is the destruction of the Basters as an ethnic group. The Ovambo regard Basters as “racists.”

Although Orizio does not mention it, in March 1990 shocked Western journalists reported: “Hans Diergaardt holds a press conference with members of a white neo-nazi organization from South Africa. Both are opposed to black rule in their respective countries. Diergaardt says the Baster community does not acknowledge Namibia’s new constitution. On 19 March, Diergaardt declares Reheboth autonomous and says the Basters will return to the rule of their forefatherly law of 1872. He will hold a referendum to decide on independence for the region.”

Unfortunately, the separatist effort failed, and the following year black Communists seized the Baster farmlands.

The Blancs Matignon of Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe is a French possession in the Leeward Islands, West Indies, discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493, abandoned by Spain in 1604, and settled by France in 1635. (The English contested French possession until 1815.)

The Blancs Matignon who live there—“Blancs” (white) from the color of their skin, “Matignon” from the most common surname of the group’s members, the name of the aristocratic French clan from which they claim descent, and the name of their village—today numbering around 400, are the obscure, poverty-stricken descendants of early French settlers who in Napoleon’s time abandoned the coastal areas to seek their fortune in the furthest corner of the island, the region today known as the Grands Fonds.

An online source states [10] that the Grands Fonds region was the refuge of aristocrats who fled the massacres of the French Revolution. Blancs Matignon, the name of their first settlement, still has a small farming community that has survived consanguineously.

Unfortunately, the economy of the back country has remained poor. The Matignon are despised by both the Negroes and the coastal Béké—“the wealthy, respectable whites, the tiny elite that studies, accumulates, and governs, maintaining strong ties with France.”

Due to their extreme geographical isolation, poverty, aloofness, and generations of intermarriage to avoid miscegenation with the surrounding Negroes, the Matignon are described much like the poor Southern whites shown in the movie Deliverance. They bear the brunt of ugly gossip and rumors of incest and deformed children supposedly hidden away from the eyes of the world. And yet, Orizio mentions seeing only one physically deformed person.

Today, Matignon intermarriage with Negroes is increasingly common and more and more children are coffee-colored Creoles or mulattos. Emigration to Canada, Australia, and France has also pushed the group to the verge of extinction.

In Orizio’s commonsense view, the solution is intermarriage with the Santois, a group of 1,500 rugged and fiercely independent fishermen of Norman and Breton descent who live a few miles away on Les Saintes, an archipelago of eight small islands. Unfortunately, the two groups do not get along (!).

Although the Matignon refused to be photographed by Orizio, he did manage to obtain three dazzling color photographs of the Santois (who were even more standoffish and uncooperative than the Matignon), showing two fishermen and a small blond child. These three individuals, all with striking good looks, are the most Nordic-looking of all the subjects whose photographs appear in the book.

Orizio’s ultimate assessment of the Blancs Matignon population is that it is “dying in this corner of the Caribbean in exactly the same way that it had lived, in silence, almost in secret, peering at the rest of the world through a keyhole.”

In view of ongoing anti-white repression and Third World inundation of all European homelands, the question unintentionally posed by the author is: Does the genetic, economic, social, and cultural devolution depicted here foreshadow the collective fate of Western man and the civilization he created? None of the groups studied has retained its racial or cultural integrity; all are in a state of steep decline. Is Lost White Tribes a prophetic journey into our own collective future?

Most of the groups maintained effective barriers for long periods of time—centuries, in some cases. And yet, today interracial sex and marriage are commonplace, and mixed race couples and their offspring frequently live in conditions of squalor, ignorance, and poverty no different from the debased people around them. It appears that this downhill slide accelerated markedly after World War II, and even since the 1960s. Why?

The collapse of colonialism eliminated white privilege, including a sense of pride and apartness. In many cases the non-white majority treated the remaining whites with contempt. Modern transportation and communications destroyed conditions of geographic and social isolation that formerly kept people apart.

While a handful of whites encountered in these pages possess pride and a weak sense of racial identity, the vast majority do not. A remarkable number of them, regardless of their geographic remoteness, know little about their European heritage and care less. Their “beliefs” are trendily anti-white. Some are filled with self-loathing and are hostile toward their own self-kind.

In fact, there is a striking homogeneity of views about this among whites in every corner of the planet. Wherever Orizio traveled he was greeted time and again by the refrain, “We’re not racist.” Only occasionally does the author mention his subjects watching television; but even those living in the most remote and poverty-stricken areas seem to do so.

Not one European nation or homeland—not one—is being spared the fate of these people. Based upon the stories in the book, there is nothing inherent in our nature that will automatically halt the process of racial devolution and genocide.

Instead, it will be necessary to summon the will from within to halt the trend and ruthlessly eliminate the tyrants who are murdering us.

The Poles of Haiti

In Lost White Tribes, the Poles of Haiti are the limiting case, exemplifying the logical culmination of current racial trends and forces—namely, the complete eradication of whites physically, culturally, and spiritually.

These sad people derive from Polish soldiers sent to the French colony of Saint-Domingue by Napoleon at the beginning of the 1800s to aid French troops in suppressing the slave rebellion there.

The French were defeated, and in 1804 the bloodthirsty Negro Jean-Jacques Dessalines announced the establishment of the world’s first black republic, initiating a spectacular series of failures on the island. The French residents, together with all other whites save the aforementioned Poles, who had been captured by the Negro rebels, were pitilessly massacred. Dessalines boasted that he would “write this act of independence using the skull of the white man as my inkwell, his blood as my ink and his skin as my blotting paper.”

The captive Poles were not just spared, but warmly praised by the dictator. It is widely believed that Polish soldiers joined the Negro rebels and stood guard over their fellow whites while the latter were penned prior to being massacred.

The hybridized Negro descendants of these Polish soldiers (no pure whites survive) subsist today in the poor, remote village of Casales, where Orizio found only three youngsters, siblings, with slightly lighter complexions than the other children.

The people of Casales now speak Creole, not Polish. Poland

has been but a vague concept for generations. No one can even visualize what the real place may be like. The soldier-ancestors left no books, no documents, and in many cases not even mementos or tales to be passed down through the family. All that remains is a dance they call the polka, and those Slav features.

Casales has no electricity, no phone, no running water, no nurse, no cars, no school, and now no church. Even the graveyard with all Polish names on the headstones is semi-abandoned. We noticed, too, that every one of the few faces around us was as dark as Haitians anywhere else. Eventually a small girl stepped forward to ask the question that was in everyone’s mind. “Have you come from Poland?”

Isolated and forgotten peasants, immersed in the melancholy of their Slav ancestors, the hope lives on that this is all a nightmare, and that one day they will awaken in that magic land called Lapologne. Of this, however, they must not speak too much, or the spirits of the forest could come seeking revenge.

Meanwhile, in the abandoned churchyard beneath the Polish headstones, their white ancestors sleep silently in the shimmering island heat, never to waken again.

Die Kreise, die so ungehemmt auf die nationale kulturelle Karte setzen, sollten sich schon einmal überlegen, was sie den Ägyptern, den Irakis und anderen Nationen entgegnen wollen, wenn diese Kulturgegenstände wie die Büste der Nofretete, den Pergamonaltar, das Ischtar-Tor, die byzantinischen Kunstwerke aus dem Bode-Museum usw. zurückfordern.")

The culture comes from the cult, and without the cult, we’re just kidding ourselves.

Radical Traditionalists are excellent critics. They can analyze the collapse of a civilization. They can pinpoint the mistaken premises that have led to the wasteland of modernity. They can discover in the most minute expressions of pop culture or contemporary vocabulary the egalitarian rot that is poisoning even the most petty social interaction.

Yet criticism is only a means. The objective is not just to bemoan the Kali Yuga but to restore – or failing that, create – an organic society that can facilitate the upward development of the race [2]. This requires something beyond intellect, criticism, and reason. It requires laying the foundation of a new order of society which can encompass all those necessary to make it function. This means weaving a tapestry of meaning and experience that can enmesh the worker with the philosopher and overcome differences of class, education, and wealth with a shared cultural context. This means religion. To put it more precisely, this means a cult.

Neo-paganism today is largely an intellectual exercise, what Collin Cleary has called [3] “paganism without gods.” Arguably this has been true since the days of Julian the Apostate, when the emperor vainly tried to resurrect the ancient gods through polemics, crackdowns on Christianity, and animal sacrifice. Even in the late Roman Empire, paganism was an aesthetic choice, a sign of cultural rebellion against Christianity, rather than a vital “faith” that had the power of literal belief behind it. Despite the scathing contempt of a Galen [4] or the slashing criticism of the Emperor Julian, Christianity would ultimately subsume the Roman Empire and the last pagan to wear the purple would mournfully cry, “You have won, Galilean.”

The contemporary heathen lives in a world of disbelief and is himself a product of that disbelief, most likely having rebelled against the Christianity of his fathers and grandfathers. Reason, irony, and iconoclasm are the hallmarks of the age and this manifests itself in the tepid spiritual practice of contemporary paganism. For contemporary pagans, their new age “faith” is simply an attempt to rebel against the “restrictions” of Christianity without challenging any of its deeper moral suppositions. Feminist Wiccans, universalist “heathens,” and Renaissance Faire Vikings litter the American landscape, and these supposed rebels align themselves even more firmly with the egalitarian Zeitgeist than the most committed evangelical. One has to ask the universalists [5] and the practitioners of “Wiccatru” – why not just become Unitarians?

“Reconstructionist” heathens present their own challenges, poring over incomplete pagan texts most likely saved by Christian authors and arguing like Byzantine clerics over what are the “correct” interpretations and practices. Like Civil War re-enactors insisting on using historically accurate buttons, this is simply a flight into fancy, interesting and entertaining but without real importance. Learning abut the past is always a worthy effort, but the attempt to escape into a bygone era is an admission of impotence. Dressing in medieval garb or affecting archaic speech is less a rejection of modernity than a surrender to it. The luxury of escapism is a product of affluence and leisure, not a consistent effort to Revolt Against the Modern World [6].

If being a heathen is to stand for anything, it has to offer an authentic spiritual experience and cultural framework that is meaningful within the modern world. In the same way that a Christian church can offer something to both the humble parishioner and the sophisticated theologian, Ásatrú has to forge bonds of spiritual community regardless of a person’s intellectualism and chosen level of involvement. More to the point, in order to avoid the embarrassing debacles of Christian apologists defending [7] such things as young earth creationism, heathen “theology,” for lack of a better word, has to be open to correct understandings of science and the nature of existence.

It begins with, as Collin Cleary suggests, simply premising that the gods exist and that we have in some sense lost our “openness” to them. However, in a deeper sense, to be a heathen in the modern world is to live out the mythology. To the authentic pagan, every social interaction, sexual relationship, meal, creation, struggle, or accomplishment is fraught with meaning, and open to ritual and magic. Instead of simply premising that the gods exist or that there is a divine sphere, the heathen and magical practitioner must regard himself as a character in his own saga, capable of tapping into the power of the gods through study and discipline combined with ecstatic experience.

Such a revolution in thinking is not easy and therefore it must begin with something even Christians regard as otherworldly – ritual. In the High Church tradition of Traditional Catholics or the Orthodox, the Mass is an attempt to bring heaven to Earth, to literally transport the consciousness of the individual to another world. In Germanic paganism, we quite literally seek to bring the gods to ourselves, either as present during a ritual or as a kind of possession within us. This requires a physical and mental separation from the workaday world, accomplished through the archetypal heathen practice of “hallowing.”

Though the specifics differ from group to group, the gothi will carve out a space separate from the rest of the world through the power of Mjölnir [8] (Thor’s hammer), Gungnir [9] (Odin’s spear), or some other instrument. This represents a psychological break with the mundane, as within the [10] (or sacred enclosure), it is accepted that reality itself has changed. As one practitioner put it, “Outside the , I am an atheist, inside the I am a religious fanatic.” Through changes in physical appearance, ritualistic chanting, music, and other practices, consciousness itself is changed, as the holy is separated from the mundane. The demarcation between the sacred and the profane is arguably at the root of all cultural identity, and the very definition of what separates one people from another.

Some could sneer that this is simply a pointless “light” show to “trick” the brain into seeing what is not there. If this is true, so too is the design of the Hagia Sophia (an earthly attempt to imitate heaven), or the use of incense during mass, or even the communal singing and chanting of just about any church service. However, in a greater sense, the ritual is the “lowest” attempt to transform consciousness above the mundane. As the modern world has removed the sacred (indeed, is characterized by the removal of the sacred), beginning practitioners must use extreme methods to “shock” their consciousness into openness to the divine.

This does not mean throwing on a wolf skin and running around screaming will lead to a person meeting the Allfather in the woods one day. However, if done properly, ritual and magic introduces the necessary openness to spiritual experience that begins a transformative process. The point is not simply to perform a ritual once in a while and enjoy fellowship with those of like mind, although this in and of itself is healthy. The point is to understand that the gods, the lore, the runes, and the process of spiritual transformation can be applied to oneself and one’s folk through a kind of psychological programming.

In normal time, one does not have to take a position on whether the gods are literally real or merely cultural archetypes. Instead, whether the gods are real or not, ritual begins a process of mental transformation that works on a continuous basis. This is best described by Aleister Crowley’s [11] view of magic – “the methods of science, the aim of religion.”

In the Hávamál (the words of the High One), we are told how Odin grasped the secret of the runes.

I ween that I hung on the windy tree,
Hung there for nights full nine;
With the spear I was wounded, and offered I was
To Othin, myself to myself,
On the tree that none may ever know
What root beneath it runs

None made me happy with loaf or horn,
And there below I looked;
I took up the runes, shrieking I took them,
And forthwith back I fell.

The Allfather grasps the runes in a moment of ecstasy, but before this moment there is a long period of deprivation, suffering, and discipline. The nine days pinned to Yggdrasil suggests an entry into an alternate form of consciousness, a higher state of awareness similar to that claimed by Christian saints who practiced fasting or sexual abstinence. The acquisition of supreme wisdom comes from the sacrifice of “oneself to oneself,” regulated through ritual, prepared by conscious study, enabled by ecstatic experience.

A talented musician or gifted general may benefit from a blinding insight at a critical moment, but this kind of divine “Odinic” inspiration doesn’t just show up randomly. It is the product of a lifetime of conscious study, united with the unconscious forces within the human mind that seem beyond deliberate control. Anyone can feel the “Muse” – but for the insight to be worthwhile, the ground must first be prepared.

Excellence, said Aristotle (another great pagan) is a habit. We are what we repeatedly do. In pagan societies, ritual is a way of elevating mundane conduct to a higher level of meaning and regulating our baser impulses to give way to a more elevated sensibility. In feudal Japan, for example, the samurai [12] pursued both combat and artistic expression (through such means as the “tea ceremony [13]”) towards the aim of perfection in everything they did. For the heathen, occasional ritual should be the beginning of a process of transformation that eventually informs every action he takes.

Nietzsche called for the Übermensch to live his entire life as a work of art. Total mastery for the heathen would mean turning one’s entire life into a ritual, a Great Work that would transform both his own nature and the world around him through a kind of spiritual alchemy. In the Traditionalist understanding of history, there was a Golden Age when men were one with the gods and their purity of blood, mind, and spirit allowed to them to work wonders and reach depths of understanding denied to the denizens of the Kali Yuga. Ritual, correct practice, discipline, and Odinic frenzy allow the heathen to enable the process of transformation to once again reach for that Golden Age. As it says in the Hávamál,

Knowest how one shall write, knowest how one shall rede?
Knowest how one shall tint, knowest how one makes trial?
Knowest how one shall ask, knowest how one shall offer?
Knowest how one shall send, knowest how one shall sacrifice?

The modern man is at war with nature, at war with his fellows, at war with himself. The heathen seeks to align his spirit with that of the cycles of nature, discover frith [14] with his kinsfolk through organic community, and master himself so he is no longer a slave to his baser impulses. While Christianity suppresses the Will, heathenism glories in it, provided that it can be controlled and understood. To be a heathen is not just to be “open” to the gods, but to pursue the god within. Once properly understood, the heathen carves out in his blood his own Vinlandic Saga each and every day, and even the most mundane activities become a kind of elevating practice.

This requires real experience – real, authentic practice either as a solitary apprentice or, preferably, as part of a kindred or tribe. To rebuild organic culture means creating a shared experience as a community. Heathenism can not be limited to books – or, worse – to the internet. It is to be lived through blood and sweat, the frenzy of inspiration, the toil of shared physical activity, the comradeship and community of shared practice.

Though our sources for “reconstructing how our ancestors did it” are limited, that is relatively unimportant. What is important is taking what we know and embarking on a sincere quest to understand the ancient mysteries, and in so doing, restore our link with Primordial Tradition. The metapolitics, metaphysics, and moral principles of Ásatrú must be explained and defended through every medium possible, but in the end, tens of thousands of words do not carry the power of one authentic “Odinic” experience.

Authentic ritual also allows us to build real community on a level that does not need to be rationally explained. People join groups for one of three reasons – ideological, material, and social. The weakness of abstract, purely “ideological” groups prone to infighting and division is self-evident here. In material terms, a real “kindred” or “tribe” can develop the ability to support its own members through labor, financial aid, and job connections, particularly among working class whites that are cast out on their own by society. However, most importantly, communal ritual, communal symbolism, and communal gatherings “create” a people, and give them their own definition of “good” and “evil,” as described in Thus Spake Zarathustra. It is not whites as they are that we defend, but whites as they could become, and that process of transformation and folk creation has to begin with the establishment of the sacred.

Christianity asks us to rationally believe the unbelievable. Heathens should not compete in apologetics, or take refuge in abstraction. It remains for them to write their own saga by living out the mythology in the modern world. It is not a question of “believing” in Odin, but walking his path, and in so doing, becoming one with the gods. In the end, Ásatrú isn’t something you believe. It’s something you live. It’s not just a tradition “for” a folk. It’s a practice that can create one.

Zone euro: En Europe, la gouvernance économique a surtout besoin d'une gouvernance politique

François Hollande a proposé l'instauration d'un gouvernement économique de la zone euro lors de la deuxième conférence de presse de son quinquennat, le 16 mai 2013. Pour Laurent Ozon, le problème de l'euro provient de notre incapacité à lui assigner une direction politique.

L'actuelle crise de l'euro est le résultat d'une opération d'instabilisation menée par le monde financier et le gouvernement profond US pour maintenir le statut du dollar comme monnaie de change internationale. Cet outil monétaire (le dollar) est ce qui permet aux USA de continuer à financer leur domination par une dette contractée sur le monde entier dans une unité de change qui n'a que la valeur du papier sur laquelle elle est imprimée. De fait, le problème de l'euro est celui de notre incapacité à lui assigner une direction politique et cette difficulté provient en premier lieu de la difficulté d'une organisation politique comme l'UE à définir les contours d'une volonté politique claire, tiraillée entre les volontés contradictoires de ses membres, les empiètements des multinationales, les tentatives répétées de sabotage des USA (via ses satellites) etc.

De fait, toute monnaie non adossée à une volonté politique est un outil problématique. Ceci est valable pour toutes les monnaies, qu'elles soient nationales ou européennes. La question fondamentale est donc bien de savoir où peut se constituer une volonté politique capable d'une direction économico-financière souveraine et conforme à ses intérêts. La seconde question qui découle immédiatement de la première est: quels seront ses moyens réels d'action (en matière monétaire et au delà) face à une hégémonie financiaro-militaire de plus en plus agressive.

La nation par son unité héritée de l'histoire, peut apparemment fournir un environnement de pouvoir mieux maîtrisé et donc un potentiel de volonté politique opérationnel plus simple à obtenir qu'une fédération d'États aux intérêts parfois contradictoires comme l'UE. En clair, la France, par exemple, peut imaginer se donner une monnaie et lier les conditions de sa politique monétaire à ses intérêts souverains. La question qui se posera secondairement sera: quel poids aura la France face à cette hégémonie, compte tenu de son niveau d'autonomie vivrière, énergétique, militaire, médiatico-culturelle, économique et financière ? Un poids faible à n'en pas douter. D'autant plus faible que le niveau d'intégration de la France dans l'économie mondiale ne repose pas seulement sur sa monnaie mais sur un dispositif d'imbrication beaucoup plus vaste et infiniment plus profond que ne le croient ceux qui rêvent d'un destin politique retrouvé, l'œil dans le rétroviseur. C'est un partisan du protectionnisme et de la relocalisation qui l'affirme, dans l'état actuel des choses, il faudra des efforts immenses et du temps à une France isolée des grands systèmes monétaires et des sphères d'influence correspondantes, pour pouvoir résister aux pressions du système financier et militaire de la première puissance mondiale, pour ne pas évoquer les autres.

Confrontée probablement dans les vingts années à venir à une crise civile grave, dépendante de ses importations, sans autonomie industrielle (pièces, technologies, etc.) et sans puissance militaire de premier ordre ni ressources capables d'impacter les rapports de forces géopolitiques mondiaux, la France ne profitera de sa liberté monétaire que bien peu de temps. Celui de s'enfoncer dans la guerre et la ruine, sort qu'elle ne pourra in fine conjurer qu'en passant sous contrôle total d'une puissance dont elle pensait s'affranchir.

De fait, je le pense, la France n'a pas les moyens de faire cavalier-seul. Adossée aux centaines de millions d'européens tournée vers la Russie, elle pourrait se donner dans l'UE, les moyens d'une politique monétaire conforme aux intérêts de son économie. Car ce qui peut être fait en France peut être fait en Europe, certes dans un premier temps plus difficilement, mais à la condition préalable d'une vigoureuse refondation des institutions communautaires qui permettrait à une Europe débarrassée du Royaume-Uni et autres satellites US, de retrouver les moyens de son retour à l'histoire dans un monde multipolaire et de défendre ses choix avec plus de poids que celui d'un pays en pré-guerre civile ne disposant pas des moyens de puissance pour maîtriser, isolé, les conséquences de ses coups de mentons monétaires.

En bref, évoquer la question de la sortie de l'euro sans évoquer celui des rapports de forces internationaux et des implications vitales induites relève au mieux de l'amateurisme politique. De ce point de vue, un gouvernement économique de la zone euro pourrait être une solution, si il n'associait pas les habituels porte-avions américains au sein de l'UE et si la France et l'Allemagne s'engageaient à ajouter une dorsale russe à l'axe Carolingien... 

C'est en tous cas le moment, à quelques mois des élections européennes d'ouvrir sérieusement le débat non ?
